Thank You Fawad Khan!!

I have not watched the film yet, but from whatever i have read, this film and his character of Rahul will be a turning point for his career. He has always been accused of playing a safe bet, and choosing romantic roles for which he has become famous. And in today's bollywood, we all know how a newcomer and that too from pakistan does not find it easy to get a foot hold and earn respected roles in A list films. But he has done it with so much grace and conviction, he started with a more or less sleepwalk character in Khoobsurat and tested the waters and he ensured that he would try different , slightly out f the box stuffs in Bollywood but never go against his culture and his desi fans.

The fact i love about Fawad is that he knows his strength and his weakness too, he knows that he is at a very sensitive stage of his carer where criticism can come from both pakistan and india, but the fact that he had the guts to accept and play the role of a homosexual with utmost loyalty makes me respect him a lot. He is one of those actors who has done very less work but some classics, he believes in quality and not the quantity, we (his fans) never anticipate a blockbuster film or a superstardom for Fawad in Bollywood, hat we expect is that he maintains and balances the respect and quality of his work, never puts his fans for a raw deal, never makes us feel that being his fan has been worthless.

Since Khoobsurat days, there had been numerous discussions that he has sold himself to Bollywood and that too for 2nd fiddle roles opposite someone as talentless like Sonam kapoor, but now as Kapoor and Sons showed another spectrum of his individual choice as an actor and his mettle as an actor, i believe that people will warm up towards Fawad more.

A massive respect to Fawad that he has never and will never forget his roots, considers his country and national fans important whenever he selects a project. No wonder he has been by far the most successful cross border artist when it comes to actors of his generation.

In bollwyood, if you compare the young actors, Fawad is easily one of the best, can be compared to Ranbir for his acting caliber, and i am so grateful to KJO for the first time in my entire life that instead of making Fawad do the typical dharma lover boy, he gave him a career defining role.

an actor who is known as a hearthrob..winning craze for his appeal and desirability ..many at his place would have picked something which only highlights that further..or those heroic kind of roles some of our actors have been stuck in playing from years and years

fawad..today by doing this.role..you proved that you think beyond this..if vidya challenged flower pot roles..your doing this role also challenged the same heroic roles our actors have been doing and not having the guts to do something this unconventional and risky which you did in mere 2nd movie of yours and with so much conviction
