Hey friends, finally starting a new SS, well basically I am starting it as a SS but I don't know whether it will turn into a FF or not...
So, here goes a short teaser...
SHORT STORY
|| Love starts after marriage ||

The Iyer house was decorated with the flowers, lights and curtains, the workers were running around and busy in preparations, Mr. Iyer was checking the arrangements when Mrs. Iyer came to her, "Vishwa, don't worry, everything is perfectly ready."
"Yes Madhu. I know, but still for the last time I am checking all this, after all it's my daughter's engagement." He replied.
"Yes Vishwa!! Our daughter is so lucky that she got a partner like Raman, he is a gem."
"Oh Madhu. Now, you don't start your sentimental lines... Go and check whether Ishita is ready or not.." He asked.

Ishita was sitting in her room, she was happy and was nervous too. She never liked the concept of arrange marriage but it was her father's wish to get married with Raman Bhalla, she respects her parents decision, so she agreed to marry him but there was no love from her side.
Ishita was so lost in her thoughts that how her life will change after the wedding, whether she could continue her studies or not, whether her in law's will give her personal space or they are like typical traditional Indians. But her thoughts were disturbed when her phone buzzed, she checked the message.
"Raman?" she murmured once she checked his name.
"I want to meet with you before our engagement. It's urgent."
His words sound serious, so without wasting time she called him, "Hello?"
"Ishita?"
"Yes Raman. Is everything alright?" She asked worried, as suddenly he asked her to meet before engagement...
"I can't tell you this in phone... Can we meet please?" He requested.
"Yeah okay." She then told him the venue and hung up the call.

"Yes Raman... You suddenly called me..." She asked worriedly once she met with him.
"Ishita, I want to tell you something and without telling this I am not feeling good to step ahead in new relation..."
"If is it about your past then..." But Raman didn't let her complete, he said, "No. don't stop me today. I feel like betraying you if I would not tell you.. Being my partner, you have all rights to know about me, my past. See Ishita, I told you about Shagun. Actually she was my girlfriend and probably we were getting engage soon but.. But she betrayed me, she made a fun of me and my love. She choose Ashok over me and from that day I lost trust on love. And I don't think I will get the trust back, so I just make it clear to you that I can't love you, I am just getting married to you just because of my family. So, after knowing this if you want you can call off our engagement." He turned at Ishita and found her smiling. "Why are you smiling?"
"You know what Raman.. I like your honesty. I really don't care if you have a past, all I know is I am going to be your present and future. And honestly I have not started loving you, actually I don't like the concept of this arrange marriage and all but I agreed for my family. But you know what my amma says in arranged marriage, Love Starts After marriage and I believe on it. Maybe in future we will start loving each other, but I believe in a relationship love needs but trust, understanding and honesty needs the most and I think these have already in our relationship. So I don't think I need to call off my wedding..." and they smiled at each other.
