Your comments are one of those rare ones I always wait for with bated breath and then when they come, I never really know how to respond. But Imma try this time, because it's only fair that I do.
I am so happy you liked the title, I was a little afraid it was going to be a cliched one. And I hate cliched but then it came to me and nothing else measured up and so it was this. The summary on the other hand, as happens with most of my writing, was accidental. Heh.
I had been thinking for a while, about why an unsuspecting little thing like her could affect him like that and then this happened. And if this gave you dark thoughts, well mission accomplished. I can't wait to read where that road leads. 😉
Also, as for her dad, I think he is liberal but practical. Which is why she is allowed to dress and live the way she wants but he wants what's best for her future thus he wants her to have a secure assured future. That's why her hesitation with dance.
You know a lot of times I don't see my writing the way you do, even though I wrote it - like I never picked on the flame and moth thing until you pointed it out. So thank you so much for that.
