Whats so special abt HP?

hello.

we are all fans of harry potter, either the movies or the books or both! so lets just share what we like abt the series that hooks us.

for me. the books are just very real, imaginative and interesting. the plot was so different at the same time well written and gripping. got me hooked.

same here.. the books r jus gr8 and the movies too....

I personally like the books better than the movies.

The imaginitive and captivating storyline that appears in the books the subtle words used for the expression of emotions by JKR is unparalleled. I simply am in love with her ptotrayal of charecters, the way she leaves certain things in the shadows barely visible. making us grope about in the dark for it. **** People here might think of Snape/Albus/Mcgonagal. Their charecters though staunchly one-natured tend to stray into their opposites. There is no clear distinction between Black or White only sum shades of grey.
e.g.
The strict McGonagal lets go of her guard and indulges in "It unscrews the other way" kinda tactics.

The demonic looking Snape saves Dumby's life when he's struck by the curse placed on Marvolo's ring,


I still belive that Snape is still on the good side

Albus Dumbledore is easy going jovial, but in GoF and HBP you see his raging fiery side.

well as u said.... the books r better than the movies.. i'll be with u coz they cut a lot of stuff in da movies.. but i like the acting of the ppl in da movie and the way they make it soo real..... like alan rickman who plays the role of snape... he is perfect 4 da role....... n even DANIEL RADCLIFFE...... he is best 4 da role 4 harry... 😳 😳

i love the books cos once i get started reading just cant stop. the films arent as good as the books but watching them after reading the books is fine. but i would always read the books first. which we do anyways cos the films take longer to be made than the books. 😃

I absolutely love the books, have read each of them about 6 times 😊
The movies are really good too. I'm eagerly waiting for the release of Goblet of Fire. The trailers are nice.
