Balika Vadhu' on Colors

Colors has confirmed to BizAsiaLive.com that its longest running fiction Balika Vadhu' is not going off-air.

On Friday, reports emerged of the show being axed and being replaced with Sphere Origins next show. However, this is not true.

Balika Vadhu' has been on-air since 2008 and has crossed over 2000 episodes. Even though ratings for the show have dipped recently, it still remains one of the channel's most watched shows.

Colors told BizAsiaLive.com, "Balika Vadhu' is not going off-air".

All news sites quote only IF as their source.

The rumor spread by IF successfully gained attention all over 😆IF does not seem so useless after all It causes ripples everywhere 😛

Anyways hoped BV cvs and colors got something in brain not to kill BV completely but end it gracefully but but they will drag it 🥱Keep dragging

BV not going off air is fine, but I hope not be tortured further as a viewer.

Ever since leap (version 2), BV has been a torture. There are hardly any light hearted moments or logical sequences. Post leap show has been full of violence, tension giving tracks, this unending track of two mothers fighting over a child which keeps moving in circles for last 6 months.

If they are to continue, I hope some freshness and new angles are added to the story line. Bored of watching Anandi's helpless life and Akheraj's come back story.

Only two sequences that added freshness to the story post leap were Shivam's fancy dress competition where he became Nimboli and JaGan anniversary celebration. We need more of those.

Good to know BV is still on, time for another leap may be with a fresh story.

Had enough of Mangala and helpless Anandi.

Entire world except Nandini knows that she is Anandi's daughter, a little to much to digest.

Don't know whether BV is going to be on air or is going to go off air but what seems to be certain is that they have story going for the next 2-3 months.

Looks like Akheraj and Parivar story is taking a different shape altogether and that probably is the next track post mother daughter re union.
