Realistic storyline

I am new to this forum... But have been reading all your posts all these days.

I am not an avid tv watcher... Nor do I get very involved with any particular serial for too long.

But I think IKRS has completely bowled me over. It is one of the most realistic serial I have come across. What they have shown till now does happen with widows in our country. The feeling of unwantedness and seclusion from festivities is quite inhumane and am glad that Indian serials are making an effort to shatter such beliefs.

An eternal feminist that I am ... I am quite impressed with dhaaniz charactar. I am sorry that I dint watch the episodes right from the beginning... But whatever I have seen ... There has been this beautiful transformation of a scared and timid widow to this courageous and fearless woman in love. I was particularly impressed with the episode where she comes to stop the marriage of shalini.

It's particularly heartening to see that she puts a foot down without even thinking of its affects on her own relationship. Fortunately we have so many unsung heroes like dhaani in our real world... But we fail to recognize them.

I like the charactarisation of Viplav ... Not because he is crazy in love ... But because like dhaani he also stands by truth. If it's mistake .. A wrong done... It is so. There is no two ways about it. With what we see in our daily lives... We can either accept the mistake and apologize or never accept it and blame it on others for what has happened. But these two characters choose the first path and always apologize when wrong and take a step forward. That's quite an achievement for Indian tv... Which continues to show mindless rantings and unnecessary twists.

Coming to IKRS... I am sure the cvs have their plans in place as far as storyline goes. But as a viewer... I want to see justice is brought out. Moreover... I really want to see shalini's and dadi's charactars coming out and accepting the goodness that dhaani has shown. While dadi has always been favoring dhaani... I would love to see shalini see thru the devastating avasthis and turn around to accept Dhaani.

There are innumerable women who go thru domestic violence in India... I hope with the current track the show highlights how the legal system in India is effective in getting the culprits their right place.

Also... I think I am more in awe of Eisha Singh ... I think she is a super talented wonder girl.. All of 17 .. And superb emotions. I hope she is female Srk in the making... 😊

And nice post...a realistic story indeed..! I once got hooked to the show only because of MR's acting..and ES though being 17 only..is doing a grt job...a lot of improvement in her when u look back at the first epi..!

Great analysis for current scenario. Both the leads are doing fabulous n credible job.
