I have watched a lot of shows where girls own dhabas or little restaurants. Girls work as assistants or personal secretaries to the heros. Girls work as care takers in the house of the rich hero..or even worse girls don't work at all. I agree there are some shows where women were shown in a good profession but those shows don't last long due to various reasons.
Coming to this show, what makes it wholesome is it's attention to detail. There is competitiveness professionally and there is personal household issues too...there is romance and there is family drama too..the girl has a brain and she uses it too..Ah! it is such a relief to watch such a show after a long time.

True that ! It always bothered me that the female lead's job was never actually that important to the show or that the heroine was uneducated most of the times . So this show feels quite refreshing & I hope that it stays this way.

I really couldn't agree more. In most shows, the girl is expected to be the typical bahu after getting married. Welcoming the husband into the house, taking his bag for him, laying out tea and snacks.

Dehleez has proved us wrong. it showed that sometimes, a girl can be more powerful than any man. We saw how Swadheenta yesterday had fearless gaze on Ahuja Saab. And Adarsh was genuinely concerned.

Swadheenta is a strong, independant, and fearless women. And she will never fail in anything she does in her life because she never gives any the chance to influence her. Which we saw in the first episode where Adarsh tries to woo her.

Very true, a lot of serials start with spark in the lead woman. She is shown as a career woman who is educated and prinicipled but eventually, all she is supposed to play is the role of a good bahu.
We never see her in her profession , whether she likes it or enjoys it or Most importantly how she identifies with it.

Case in point is ishita of YHM,she was an independent career woman .But things became obvious too soon ,all she was meant to be was an ideal bahu, beti biwi.

Tired of looking at women as wife, mother and daughter-in-law.There should be an identity of woman without all that ,her interests ,what she believes in.

And that is what this show promises, the journey of Swadheenta ,her own without being anything else. She, fighting for what she believes in and not because she has to do her duty as a bahu, beti ,biwi etc.

I wish to see Swadheenta find her way ,understand her strngths and fight her inner conflicts and demons before she considers marriage.
She should find her identity and self respect before she makes that decision and continue doing so afterwards.

Thankfully,as of now Adarsh looks like a sorted guy who would support and fight with his wife, not because she is his gf/wife but because she is standing for the right thing and he believes in it too.A relationship based on common ideals and shared principles.

After being fed so much nonsense after a promising stars-from chudails to aatmas to reincarnation and hiding truths from husbands for their protection, Daleez is an indulgence, indeed😊😊
