Varun Dhawan films have not been very impressive content wise.

Diwale was in poor taste.

I think he's rated just fine, actually. He's got amazing commercial success thus far and critics haven't been too harsh on him. He's quite popular with the youth. Whether or not he looks like main lead or his voice irritates you or he's too short differs from every person's viewpoint so you can't really argue that - I think he carries himself in a very confident manner and he dances really well. I loved that he chose Badlapur but he needs to start mixing up things again - doing a Dilwale, Dishoom and Judwaa 2 back to back isn't really exploring his range. At some point, everyone is overrated but I do agree with the person that said he isn't in your face 24/7.

As for Varun is concerned, he is absolutely not overrated. Idk why people are voting for yes. He is perfectly rated. He is much better than his contemporaries. Yes, Ranveer is better than him in terms of everything but Varun will be next for me
