The past few days I have been caught up with stuff at home and you may have noted that I have been late and brief in responding to your posts. The other reason has also been that I have not been too excited about the current happenings and unsure of where this is going. The idea is to create suspense I get it but I suspect it will be the age old execution of taking the audience to the cliff and throwing them off it unceremoniously . I have promised myself to wait it out as I think most of us are.
First viewing of the episode left me annoyed with cheese runeth over. Viplav's " Do shareer ek jaan " dialogue was puke worthy ( my view only ) and was saved by the Viplav/Misahl looking dishy in the orange jacket. Second viewing was better and your take too helped me to see it in a different light. Still a lot remains confusing.
Dhani and Viplav in an elaborate scene ( and a good one ) say goodbye to each other as she has agreed to accompany her DL to Mathura. the Cvs changed their mind suddenly and the next we see Dhani refusing to go and stay back to face whatever comes her way . Moreover she does not inform Viplav of the change of plan or does she !! The DT and Viplav finding a girl to marry was out of the blue . Sure it does not matter in the bigger picture but i think it is poor story telling.
Raja who we all are trying to figure out remains to be flaky. What I have figured out so far is that he was an active member of The Dhani torture team. His abusive nature and obsession with his sister in law was to the extent of being lustful ? It seems that way but that remains to be confirmed. Is he a psychopath ? His current anger towards Dhani is for the humiliating slap he received from her and all he can think of is to kill her thus the noose and the knife. Will we get a consistent characterization soon ?
The Mehendi scene. I only know about the alphabet of the groom being written on the brides palm. I do not know about the reverse maybe it does happen. Why did Dhani wish to do so when she is already married ? And then asking the Ashram ladies to apply the same in their hair ? did not get the point of it all.
The Suman investigation case like the Shambhu case which was hanging on a cd is now based on sketch artist ? Raja threw the earlier one so now he is ok with Viplav getting a hand on it . And Viplav as a lawyer - can the writers please do some research on how a lawyer functions ?
The next two days , however long that is , in the life of a serial should be the high point of the suspense . Will the marriage take place or will it be mahaan Dhaani stopping the wedding with Viplav standing dumbstruck . Or will they first talk about it and come up with a collective plan ? I'd be shocked if they do . Next week should be interesting ..lets see how it goes.
