Ch2:

Gayatri slowly walks through the corridor and through the stairs,reminiscing each and every moment spent here.Her eyes were red after crying so much.Indravadhan came running behind her to stop her.

''Pal bhar thheher jao,
Dil ye sambhal jaaye,
Kaise tumhe roka karu,
Meri taraf aata har gham phisal jaaye,
Aakhon mein tumko bharu,
Bin bole baatein tumse karu,
'gar tum saath ho...
Agar tum saath ho...''

(Flute instrumental plays)

Gayatri comes towards Rajmata,touches her feet and then hugs her.Rajmata smiles amidst tears and blesses her wholeheartedly. Then she comes towards Swarna,her best friend,her guide,her confidante,etc. She hugs her and asks with a stern yet caring tone, ''Ranaji ka khyal rakhna.''

''Please,mat jao Gayatri. Hum sabko tumhari zarurat hai.''

''Baki sabko meri zarurat hai par shayad tumhare Rana bhaisaa ko ab main zarurat nahi hu. Ek dost ka kehna manlena.'' Gayatri replied and turned to leave when Indravadhan held her hand.

''Aap kahin na jarahi hai,Rani Gayatri. Yeh Rana Indravadhan ka hukum hai. Aapko humari kasam hai,Rani Gayatri.''

Gayatri laughs with a sad tone and says, ''Kasam? Kaunsi kasam,Rana Indravadhan Singh Deo? Humari shaadi ke waqt amaine aur aapne milke saat vachane li thhi. Unme se ek kasam tha ki aap mera vishwas karenge aur mera saath humesha denge. Aapne nibhayi woh kasam? Nahi na..phir,aap mujhe kaunsa kasam ka vaasta deke rok rahe hai. Aap yeh kasam deke mujhe jaane se rok rahe hai ek raja ki haisiyat se,ek pati ke naate nahi. Aapke mutabik humare beech koi pati aur patni ka rishta hi nahi hai,toh,kyun rok rahe hai aap mujhe? Jaane dijiye mujhe.''

Indravadhan's grip on her hand loosened when Gayatri said all those words. It was right,he thought.

''Rajmata,aap toh rukiye Gayatri ko. Aapki toh har baat maanti hai woh.''

''Ranaji,kabhi kabhi mudda jab haath se nikal jaata hai sambhalne se pehle,tab kuch kiya nahi jasakta hai. Bholenath par sab chhor dete hai.'' she replied.

Gayatri sat on her bagi and with tears,she bid goodbye to her in-laws' house.

''Gayatri...'' Indravadhan roared as he slumped down and he saw the cart diasappearing.

Swarna ran towards her Rana bhaisa and hugged him tightly and asked him to be calm and to think about how to bring Gayatri back.

Night,Govind Seth's house.

Gayatri was in her room,standing beside the window and looking at the moon. Tears continuosly fell from her eyes as she silently sobbed thinking about the situation of leaving her Ranaji,but,this has to be done,in order to make him realize the gravity of the situations.

Ranaji was not in a good state,either. He walked towards the left side of the bed where Gayatri slept. He smiled sadly and lied down,facing the moon.

The pillow and the bedsheet had the smell of Gayatri's freshly shampooed hair and the perfume she used. He inhaled the scent which lingered on them,to feel the presence of Gayatri.

''Aap phir wahan pe so rahe hai,Ranaji? Pata hai na aapko ki hum waha sote hai kyunki humein chaand ko dekkhe sone ki aadat hai?''

Her voice shocked Ranaji.He was really happy to her soothing voice.

''Aap abhi bhi wahi hai? Aap apne jagah jaiye.'' Gayatri replied with a fake anger and with her hands on her curves.

''Maaf kijiyega Raniji. Hum abhi jaa..''

''Koi baat nahi,Ranaji. Main aaj aapke jagah pe so jaungi. Aaj mujhe apne chand ko dekkhe sona hai.''

Gayatri replied with a smile and lied down on his side,keeping her head over his chest and hugging him tightly. As he tried to hug her with a smile,she disappeared,making his smile also disappear.

Precap: Ranaji to plan on how to bring Gayatri back.
