Kareena avoids the paparazzi

Bebo decided to ditch the shutterbugs to avoid being photographed in her casual attire.


Kareena Kapoor came to her new apartment, Rose Queen at Khar, on Wednesday afternoon to check in on the progress being made by the builders. The actor came with her mother, Babita around 12.30 pm in her Porsche Cayenne.
An eye-witness says, "She came to see how far the construction has gone. She wants to move in soon. She has bought a house on the 6th floor and another on the 10th floor" one for her and the other for her sister, Karisma. The construction is complete now the internal fittings and marble flooring is being put in.

"Kareena comes from time to time with Babita to check the progress. She is taking a personal interest in everything that is happening," adds the source. Kareena, who was dressed in a black t-shirt and pants, came sans makeup. She went to the sixth floor with a file of papers. As soon as the buzz spread that Kareena had arrived to check her new house, fans from the neighbourhood began to collect in the premises.

One fan came up and asked Kareena's driver if he can have a photo with the actor. But he was unceremoniously told that "Madam aaj photo nahin dengee. Unhone achche kapde nahin pehne hain." (Madam has refused to be photographed today as she is dressed far too casually.)

The actor spent half an hour upstairs specifying the fittings and colours she wanted in the house. But once she came down, she quickly zoomed off in her car. Interestingly, only a few days back Bebo's current beau, Saif Ali Khan, bought a new apartment a couple of lanes away. Khan is moving from his current home in Lokhandwala to a new duplex apartment on 29th Road, Bandra.
