Will we ever see a Bollywood celeb come out?How would ppl react?

We all are well aware that atleast 40% of people in bollywood are gay. Due the cultural restrictions/background/country laws/ fear.. people don't come out openly about their sexuality.

But I believe at some time...after 20-30 yrs people would be more comfortable???

In India, under section 377 homosexuality or any act against the order of nature is criminalisef and itsstill under juducial tria. So till that gets decriminalised no one in this country is expressing aloud about their sexual orientation being high profile celebrities. It will grab media attention, media trial , categorisation and even legal hassles. Add to that tamasha by politucal class to gain momentum from the issue knowing the celeb's politucal inclination. So no dont think any of the celeb is coming out clean with their sexuality any time soon.

It has to be legal first LOL...but even besides that I dont think anyone is ready for it sadly. There is a lot of stigma and lack of education about homosexuality in India. Thats why even a powerhouse like KJO cant come out! He knows the audiences would react negatively

India is not mature enough for it.

I believe most are bi-sexual if not gay. I think many has tried the same sex. 😆

In my opinion not in the foreseeable future, not even if the law changes and section 377 is reversed or nullified. Especially not actors or those who are in front of the camera a lot like KJo though he's pretty close to being out. They rely on the masses, the general audiences, the aam janta for their livelihoods and success of their businesses. Unfortunately the percentage of homophobes is high, but even if people try to act understanding or don't have any hate the stereotyping can be just as damaging. I see a lot of "I don't care if he's gay but if I support his movie people will think I'm gay too" mentality.
