Varun Dhawan has been busy these days shooting for his brother Rohit Dhawan's action film Dishoom, but post that, he hasn't signed anything. However, we have some exciting news for you. Varun Dhawan has signed his next film with Dharma Productions and he will be playing Badrinath. And he is all set to reunite with Alia Bhatt in Shashank Kahitan's next. But what will surprise you is the title of the film. After playing Humpty Sharma in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, he will play Badrinath in Badrinath Ki Dulhania.

Varun and Alia are one of the hottest jodis in B-town and both their films, Student Of The Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania did well at the box office. So, another film with the hot pair would always do wonders. A source close to Dharma revealed to us, "We are taking the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniafranchise ahead and are planning a few movies around the franchise. Our next again has Alia and Varun, the name was being decided since a few days and maybe it got finalised today."

Badrinath Ki Dulhania will also be a love drama and will be entirely shot in Uttar Pradesh in just one schedule. The film will go on floors in the first week of May, however the dates are still being sorted out as Alia will also be working on Gauri Shinde's next with Shah Rukh Khan. Alia and Varun were supposed to work in Dharma's Shhuddhi, but with that project being shelved, Badrinath Ki Dulhania will mark their reunion!
