Do you think Raunak is smart enough to leave the phone on recording mode in the car, when he went to get water?? After all he trusted Kajal a lot.

Of course not! That would make Kajal's life easy and she HAS to suffer more!! And besides they'll have nothing to show if Raunak suddenly develops a presence of mind and common sense! He HAS to be dumb. That's his job description :D
