Your starting para on Crossing the threshold is so apt . Life , very much like a TV show , leads us on to a new track and we take a leap of faith and walk the road in front of us. Now that Viplav and Dhani are married the next phase for them is to get their relationship accepted by their families. For Dhani it is "leaving behind the old self and moving over to the other side to embrace the change that waits for the person on the other side!" and her courage to do so .
yes and since it a controversial marriage.. what you point out seems a bit of a challenge for both
Viplav sneaks into the ashram at night to find a tensed Dhani , She indeed had a bad day with Kanak at her heels but she is not going to tell that to Viplav. He in turn has other things on his mind. His sisters wedding function planned for tomorrow and his wife is required to be there . He creates a fuss and Dhani reluctantly agrees having no clue as to how she should accomplish such a task . Was touched by Viplav's request and his insistence on her presence. Its the respect he wishes his wife to get , he is proud of his choice and loves her immensely and its her right to perform the ceremony . He is asked to leave as it is very late and will be questioned if caught.

The ceremony begins with family and friends ( I think they have done away with Pankay & Raj . its been a while since they appeared ) . All proceed to the podium when DT whispers to KT to be away from the scene . Reminds her that she is a widow and should stand away . Viplav does his bit of putting the tilak on the groom and presents him with gifts and some more which are eagerly grabbed by the grooms aunt. All the while Viplav's eyes are at the door waiting for the one person who he longs for.
I LOVED viplav with his croonies.. with the lads!
With the next phase of the ceremony to start a group of singers enter the house followed by a women in red with a ghughat . She stands next to Viplav who is lingering at the door asking him if he is looking for someone else coz she is right besides him. Viplavs happiness knows no bounds and he lights up in joy and happiness at her sight. She refrains him from taking her into his arms and sits by the singing ladies joining their song. Viplav unable to keep away from her finds a place behind her away from everyone's sight and watches her with love and pride. How she took this risk of being exposed all for him and now he is her fan . Both exchange a bit of loving banter one oblivious to the surrounding and the other in total awareness of it.

This for me was the favorite scene of the day . Its beauty lay in the fact in what they wanted to do for each other . He wanted her to be part of the family celebrations as it was her right and she wanted it because he had asked her to . The Ishq . And yes they both looked very good in blue Sherwani and red saree.
yes.. dhani carries the sari very well..and viplav had a slimfit sherwani very suave..
The irony of Kanak being stopped to join the crowd struck me versus Dhani in red who was now qualified to participate.
👏 great point dhani in red.. whether in pretension or in reality.. but kanak in reality is in white !

One wonders what happened in the past that both mother and daughter seem so frightful of it reappearing again. Dulaari yet again opens up a memory box dreading the havoc it may create in her daughters life. Badi amma advices her to let it be where it belongs , in the past and move on. Dulari finds the courage to burn the memorabilia as it was time.
and dhani's words to viplav in the end.. its her destiny she doesn't trust
An interesting episode . so many balls up in the air and one wonders where and how will they fall. How and when will the Viplav Dhani wedding be exposed ? How will Dhanis past be uncovered and what will it be ? Will Raja & Shallu wedding happen ? What is Raja's story and his mother and aunt , How will DT & KT react ? And with all this What will become of Viplav & Dhani. very interesting...
thanks for raising so many questions premratan.. I think we are much worked up to find answers.. which is advantegeous for CVs.. as its more than enough to keep the audiences hooked on.. the romantic side is the sweet appealing side of the story line.. yes so good going of the show so far..

Dhaani's life to date has seen many downs and for most of it she has handled it with grace and a few tears but since she has accepted the love she has received from Viplavshe had experienced what true rapture feels like, and so it has made it easier for her now to take bold steps to cross the thresh;d that once she would have been terrified of.
oh she certainly deserves all the love she gets.. so young but rich with experience

While Viplav has had a life of great comfort and gotten what he wanted when he wanted it and has not had to face the harshness that Dhaani went through and so it is easy for him to get what he wants even from Dhaani by any means.

i think.. they have taken the best from each other

Viplav's love demands and Dhaani's love acquiesce without much contest.

Viplav was indeed very happy to see Dhaani there but poor Dhaani was nervous and scared the whole time. And who wouldn't be with Kanak slithering around to

pounce on her if she so much as had a whiff of Dhaani near her beloved son.

The only new clue we got was from the resident Kleptomaniac about a girl in Raja's past named Suman that he abhors. Who is she ?? Why such anger at a mere name?

We have to wait to find the answers to the mystery of "Suman "

Dhaani with her courage got to cross her in-laws threshold and got to do the ritual for Shallu as her Bhabhi, that pleased both the lovebirds because they did it on the sly without being discovered by their adversaries in that room.

yes viplav reverses all the curses that his mother has put on dhani

I liked the answer of Dhaani's when Viplav tried to make her jealous with rita and Dhaani said ...I trust you completely ...but I do not trust my Kismet. Sad...

Raja with his constant interfering in Viplav life is going to blow their cover and will be

shocked to discover that Viplav's girlfriend( wife in fact) is none other than the picture he carries in his wallet. Back off ...fool.😡
