Jodhaa Akbar is a 4 hour-long film

It seems Ashutosh Gowariker has penchant to make lengthy films be it Lagaan or Swades which were over three hours. Now it is reliably learnt that the maker has gone one step ahead with his next Jodhaa Akbar which features Hrithik Roshan as Emperor Akbar and Aishwarya Rai as Jodhaa Bai.

According to our sources the first print of the film which is roughly edited has come out and the length has turned out to be of 4 hours duration. It is also learnt that the maker has now decided to drop two songs from the film one which were yet to be shot. Although the film still has to undergo final editing our sources insist that the final product won't be less that three and half hours. The film is slated for release on January 25, 2008.

I agree. I dont care how long the movie is, as long as I get to see Hrithik and Aish together😉

well they are deleting some scenes or songs to make the movie short. But I don't mind seeing 4 hour of their movie as long as it's interesting movie. I don't want to see a boring story for 4 hours
