I started this fan fic on my Bhai's birthday and it's thankfully been appreciated exactly the way I've wanted it to be. Thank you dear readers for your kind words; mean a lot!

I'm posting the next part below and this is one crucial one so I hope you'll like it. Excuse the length and apologies in advance!!

Vandita walked over to where Ishita was sitting and tapped her shoulder to get her attention. Ishita turned round and asked Vandu to have a seat as there was no point evading the matter at hand. Vandu glared at Ishu as she spoke

"Akka Subbu repeatedly keh raha tha that he wanted to meet up so I thought let's get over and done. Bas isiliye I couldn't meet you..."

"Ishita tu simply mujhe bata deti naa that you're meeting with Subbu & hey hang on; Subbu do you both study at the same college?"

"Yes Anni maine bas recently enrol kiya and coincidentally Ishita and I are in the same class!"

Vandita who was gauging their behaviour since long, remarked

"So guys what's cooking? I'm sorry if I spoiled your date yaar! Waise agar Subbu tum Bala ko bata dete and Ishu tu mujhe hum dono ko bhi time mil jaata saath spend karne ko!!"

Ishu who was getting a little annoyed with Vandu's bak-bak now finally spoke

"Hum yahan college project ko discuss karne aaye hain! Kissi date pe nahi!!"

"Oh" Vandu burst out laughing

[AT BHALLA HOUSE]

[EARLY MORNING]

Mummyji walked into Raman's room who was fast asleep. She bent over and placed a kiss on his forehead. She tucked him properly under the blanket and walked out his room. Mummyji entered her own room and began a conversation with Papaji

"Bhallaji main yeh soch rahi thi ke ab toh humaara Happy kaam bhi karne laga hai; achi khaasi salary hai uski toh phir shaadi ka naa socha jaaye?"

"Bahut acha khyaal hai Toshijee magar abhi sirf 23 saalon kaa hai humaara Puttar!"

"Arre hum dono 19 aur 20 ke teh jab humaari shaadi hui thi!"

"Toshijee zamaana badal gaya hai!"

"Bhallaji aap chodo! Main apne bete se hi baat kar loongi!"

"Aapki marzi!"

[AT THE BREAKFAST TABLE]

"Aaja Raman naashtha karle Puttar" Mummyji called Raman over to the breakfast table; eager to express her desire of seeing him married!

"Changi tarah khaale Puttar din bhar kitna toh kaam karta hai! Soohk ke kaata hi naa ban jaaye!"

"Mummy aap bhi. Theek hoon main aap khud bhi khaa loo main apne aap le loon gaa kuch chaiye hoga toh."

Mummyji sat down, the talk still on her mind. It was then that Bhallaji decided to get over and done with her itchiness

"Raman teri Maa yeh keh rahe thi ke ab tujhe shaadi ke baare mein sochna chaiye..."

"Papa abhi meri age hi kitni hai upar se kaam naya naya hai toh mujhe uss pe aap dono concentrate karne dijiye, please"

"Main bhi toh yahi keh raha tha teri mummy se!"

"Mummy please abhi ke liye aap iss sab ke baare mein mat sochi yeh!"

Mummyji got dejected

[AT THE IYER RESIDENCE]

"yum aunty kitna delicious Payasam hai. I loved it!!"

"thank you beta! Tum dono ko aur kissi cheez ki zaroorat ho toh just call me over!"

"Arre Amma don't worry hum khud manage kar lenge! Aap rest karo"

"jee aunty"

Amma left; leaving Subbu and Ishita to study. Subbu took this opportunity to tell Ishu what was on his mind ...

"Ishita don't think I'm being desperate but I'm feeling this strong attraction towards you... I like you yaar..."

"Subbu ... are you for real?? We've only just met yaar! You've put me in such an awkward situation. I think this study is enough for today. Hum college mein milte hain... bye"

"bye Ishita"
