okay dhivi dear🤗 i read two parts and seems like i m reading a detective novel.. good work dear with suspense and flow.. it is keeping me intrigued to find out who killed this girl.. will need some time to read your updates.. I shall finish them soon😊

"How could you conclude about her character? Did you witness something ?"

He snorted "the whole office witnessed that awkward incident played infront of all. Dr. Keshav Narayan himself visited her and cautioned her to stay away from his son. Everybody witnessed that. After that incident I stood aloof from her.

I stopped speaking to her expect the official matters. That's all" he said.

Tejaswini closed her eyes in embarrassment. He clutched Surya's arms sitting next to her. He too reciprocated the warmth.

"ok! Thanks for your co operation" he shook hands with Mr.Gupta and came out of the room with Tejaswini.

"do you know anyother friends of your sister here" he asked.

She nodded." Merlin and Rashmi Di" said her

Rashmi did not speak anything much she said the same what Gupta said. She agrred that Dr.Keshav visited here .

She was very much reserved.

Tejaswini felt something wrong in her behavior..because as far as she knew Rashmi di was so chirpy and a big foody. She never hesitated to speak to anyone at anytime. She might be wishing to stay away from police , case ..witness..enquiries and all..that's quite natural. Tejaswini consoled herself.

Merlin was her friend too. She worked with her sister and in the evenings she attended her dance school.sheis a good dancer. She had also lost her father in an accident..so that brought her very close to her.

She too said the same incident happened. But how that did not reach Tejaswini? She wondered.

"but I don't believe it. Dhamayanti is my best friend here. We both joined the company more or less in the same time. And we had a good relationship. I don't believe that allegations." Said merlin.

Tejaswini dropped her head and held it tight. She was suffocating inside the car. Surya was still investigating inside but she could not stand there anymore. She came running to the car. Where is he..come soon surya ! shouted her mind.

He did not made her to wait for a long time. Soon he jumped the stairs and rushed to the car.

"sorry! Did I made you to wait for a long time?" asked

She nodded no. her lips are dry and and her tip of the nose was red. She was weeping.

"please sir! I don't want to investigate anything about her. I don't want to know any of her past. She was dead. Nothing could bring her back. Please help me to come out of her absence..that's enough for me" she cried bitterly. Now, nothing stopped him from pulling her to him tight. She clung to him as soon as his hands touched her arms.

He patted and ran his fingers into her hairs.

"ok..calm down Teju! You no need to come with me anymore. Right" he said.

She was not sure that how long she stayed adhered with him but she wished to stay in the stance for the whole day if the phone had not rang.

She least bothered to pick up the phone and he was not in a hurry to leave her out of his arms.. he had not tired anything to move her away from him. But the phone rang constantly. She saw the mobile screen

"viky calling"

She immediately looked at surya. He gestured to pick up the phone.

she spoke nothing except the first hello but her face reflected some sets of reactions.

Surya lifted his brows and questioned.

"He apolozised to me. He asked me to forget what had happened between us in thesed days. He wish the old friendship alone from me. And ..and he pleads me to join the dance class again.. what shall I do now" she delivered the messege like a school girl participating in a recitation competition.

Surya eyes held a strange warmth.

"I wont say it's a bad idea. If you wish you could join your classes again. It will help you to come out from your agonies. I could arrange proper protection for you" said he.

Again she wished to rest her head on his shoulders but he moved the car and started driving it.

No! no! no! why should you go there..there are so many people are there to bring her back home safely. You mind your business.." alerted his brain but still he could not suppress his anxiety and nervousness. He could not turn down his impulse to pick her up from the dance class. While driving to the Dance academy he cursed himself for the whole way. Why he was more concerened about her and what hejust did in the car today morning. Was that only because shwe was the sister of Dhami and out of pity??? He refused to seek answer for the question which pierced his heart. He don't know the answer actually.. even he don't know why he is now rushing to pick her up from the class when he had engaged a Pc already.

Tejaswini felt like she was in her mother land again. many of her friends surrounded her except vikram. He stood aside maintaining a distance. She felt the real regret in those eyes. She approached him.

"why are you standing alone viky? Come on I forgot everything..hope the same with you" she smiled. Vikram's face was litup immediately.

"thank you teju" he said and wipped out his tears.

"fool" she punched him in his chest.

Vikram felt relieved..thank god she is still in my control.

Thought he.

Surya parked his car in the parking lot and he leaned on his car waiting for tejaswini. He thought of run away from here before she comes out. But healways allowed his life to lead by his heart.now..today this time I wish to pick her up from her class..so I am here. That's all. He said to himself.

Students were wandering in and out. The girl he saw in the office today morning came out with a bottle in her hand. What's her name? he pondered. " merlin" yes!

She too saw him and definitely startled mildly. Then she smiled at him. He too smiled but not friendly. The policeman's eyes started scanning the inner details of that smile after an unnecessary shock.

I want to know abt Surya nd Dhami more, I dnt know y I think there is some connection maybe indirectly with the murder. So surya will focus on Merlin more now?

Am I falling for him? She asked herself. "no ! no! I am just a refugee" replied a mind voice.

"refugee?" giggled another voice deeper from her heart.

Who is treating you as refugee here? Now who will rush all the way and stand in front of the gate to pick up a refugee from her dance classes?

She pondered all the possibilities and reasons but still she could not come to a conclusion about his special sudden care for her. She gently rapped her head. He had been always caring for her right from the day one but not apparently.

His solicitude was patently shown today. Only solicitude?? Her heart bounced rapidly as they bounced when she had seen Surya standing in the parking lot sharply to pick her up. Why her heart jingled? She rebuked herself.

Stop thinking nonsense. What do you know about him? He is just showing you sympathy.

Restrained her mind but heart?? Okay! Let it be. But how many cases he had been handling in his career, did he allow anybody else in his house? Her face turned crimson.

What made her to change? His professionalism? His perfection? his soft corner for her? His caliber? His stiffness? Or his attractiveness?

Now, why I am thinking about him again and again. what's happening to me? When did I start admiring him? I missed to notice the breaking point of aversion into admiration.but certainly I have started adoring him. Otherwise, why should I simply follow him when he dragged me from viky's house? The same Tejaswini shouted and cursed him in rubbish words when he dragged me from my house. Where is she now? Now, I am looking for his approval to attend viky's call. What a big change?? The girl once who felt repulsive to him , just fell on his arms today. Is this a good one ?

She could not think beyond that and she doesn't want to think. Whatever , she felt her feelings are quite natural. Any girl in her age and situation might love a man like surya. He definitely deserves it.

But She decided to restrict , these kind of thoughts henceforth because it does not have a future. Once the case is over then he will go in his own way. Suddenly she felt the emptiness. She remembered the aspersions spoke about Dhami. Though, she did not believe that she still feels some love affair had ruined her life.

I don't want to fall in the same well. Why my heart is running behind him when I casually turned vikram down?

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Thud! Thud! Thud! Her heart beat increased.

"yes! " she said gently.

Surya opened the door and smiled at her gently.

Gawwd! Why this man is smiling now. Ayy! Show your usual scowl face damnit! Shouted her mind.

" Are you still awake? " why his voice and tone is so polite and gentle?

"ya..hmm. "

" listen Teju! Don't believe in the words spoken by the idiot today about your sister. Still I have a doubt on him. He must be lying. So empty your mind and try to sleep"

She felt ashamed of not thinking about her sister ! that moment she felt like doing injustice to both her sister and Surya.but still she noticed!

She nodded. He clasped his arms. He felt uncomfortable like he wished to ask something but hesitating to ask.

He looked at her surprised.

"hmm.ya.. how was the class today? after a long time?"

"fine! All were happy "

Tejaswini felt a smooth butterfly wing fluttering in her tummy. Is this a jealousy? Or possessiveness?

" he apologized. I accepted and he will remain as my friend always" she smiled.

Surya averted his eyes. " ok! Just take care..okay"

he turned and walked over the door.

"good night" he smiled.

"Good night" replied Teju mildly.

Its very very difficult to restrict her heart running behind him . she felt.

"I just could not believe that..but it happened" remarked vishwa.

"and! She herself called out your name and approached you. "

"she still believes me and that is my weapon" he winked.

"but..but I saw that police man to pick up her. She is still in his control."

Said Vishwa.

Vikram frowned. "yes! That's pricking me again and again. but I am the one who controls her heart. Slowly.. I will bring her back"

"let's make her to involve completely in dance. Our master was speaking about some program for charity yesterday. Let's plan it into a bigger one. "

He fell on his bed and closed his eyes.

Dhamayanti !! he whispered.

"characterless woman..bi***..fraud.." so many voiced buzzed inside his ears again and again.

He looked at the calendar. Exactly one month before , the same day when he saw her first. How alive she was. How lively and active she was! That day blossomed freshly in his heart.

Surya was doing his humdrum routine search in matrimonial site. He was lacking interest day by day. Most of the girls looked beautiful but he felt that alone is not enough to choose a girl but her sister was so excited to see her bhabi soon.

While scrolling the screen down he came across that photo. He scrolled up again instantly to have a second look. That was the fresh picture of dhamayanti in light blue saree. He gazed at her for a while. He could not avert his eyes from her. That eyes..that smile.. that attitude ..yes..she is my girl! He thought.

Immediately he decided to meet her! He just wanted her to see her directly. In the next half an hour he was in front of the bank she was working. He was in his casuals. He doen't want to meet her in uniform in their very first meet.

What!!! Very first meet. It may be their last meet too. who knows? He chuckled combing his hairs .

He stepped inside the bank and searched for her. There she is!!! Behind the glass counter. A long queue was standing in front of her. He simply joined the queue.

"do you think that you can do anything if you are a police man? You may be a commissioner or deputy commissioner or IG. I don't care sir." Surya was startled and stunned.
