Loved the part about Viplav learning to fight fraud with fraud, and also both Dhani and Viplav learning to keep things to themselves. Perhaps it is a combined growth period for both of them. Shalu's prospective mother-outlaw looks extremely smug and smarmy. The actress is a good fit for the role. Something is rather fishy in the vegetarian Tripathi household, but none can smell the herring, steeped as they are in the pride of their status and alliance. Only after Shalu is mistreated post-wedding, perhaps there is an opportunity for DT and KT to learn somethings.
such shame.salu has to bear the brunt of her mothers's hatred and illtreament of poor dhani ..one gets their punishment in this world..
I will miss Dakssh as Trip very much. It is a shame that he is leaving the show. I cannot imagine anyone else replacing him --he filled Trip's character with dynamism and made it come alive in a nuanced way. Trip happens to be a character that is very well drawn by the CVs. He is a baddie, no doubt, but a vulnerable baddie, with feelings that get hurt, with insecurities that he wears on his sleeve, and a psyche where desire for acceptability and revenge abide in equal measure, and strive for dominance.
glad you gave the actor a a glowing wtiteup.. yes I too will miss the screen presence of the star daksh.. not quite sure what to make of this new entry raja... ? guess we all wait andwatch.
Yesterday's scene of DT throwing a one-rupee coin at Trip's feet was definitely cliched; but nonetheless enjoyable. The symbolism here is plain for all to see --Tripurari is a khota-sikka --a counterfeit coin. Coined on the wrong side of the marital bed, the presence of Trip is an eyesore for all "genteel" people, who wish to sweep away the byproducts of their lust where no one can see them. Yet, like a bad coin, Trip keeps coming back, and is in permanently in circulation, in everyone's face, including the father's whose surname and recognition are denied to him.
