bollywood movie about domestic violence legal in islam

i know everyone gets defensive if their religion is questioned
but i read than in middle east and pakistan
its legal that man can beat his wife and its even written in islam
and i have read muslim law and it says man can raise their hand on wife in anger and its legal
so why no one questions pakistan and bollywood movies
why no one ever make a movie (bollywood )and question all the stupid laws in inlam because we have huge muslim population .

bol was awesome and so was khuda kai liye
but bol talked about how womes are treated in inslam and how girls not sent to school , and other social pressure than womem face in pakistam but dint actually talked how its completely legal for a husband to beat him wife.
Its so sad that everyone gets so defensive when some of the laws of islam gets questioned.

to be honest i dont blame bollywood look what people did at time of vishwaroopam. and if someone makes it they will throw the minority card like they did at the time of vishwaroopam or will burn the train or buses because how someone questioned their religion.

yes like in movie pk..similarly we have a lot of maulvis who practise the wrong stuff and exaggerate etc but that doesn't make laws of Islam stupid coz they aren't there at the first place..

and u can google it and read at wiki its not crime for a man to beat him wife she she does something wrong which husband dont agree.
even lot of women group questioned this law but sill pakistani govt in not changing it

not only on wiki but lot of law books and even my law teacher talked about it and than i google it to confirm and not only on wiki but lot of other article ever says it.

Okay can you point out to these "articles"? You're speaking too vaguely for such big statements.
