This my first post in this forum, actually, my first post on IF. I don't watch Swaragini regularly (used to in the beginning but then studies got in the way) but a few times a week and I happened to watch today's episode. So Hi everyone! 😊
I might be labelled as a heartless person but when I saw Ragini cry and "beg" Laksh I didn't feel bad for her AT ALL (she deserves this and much worse. Actually, she should be behind the bars!). Honestly, she's getting a taste of her own medicine (although in a very small dose..).
Laksh's character looks real because no one in real life is mahaan like Swara or Shomi. He was tired of being told what to do, having to fulfill other's expectations of him and he had enough now. This outburst was expected.
- How can Shekhar slap Laksh? On which basis is he allowed to do that?
Did he forget what his own daughter did to this whole family and especially Laksh?
Why is she (Ragini) allowed to do everything in the name of her "pyaar" and everyone is supposed to forget that but once someone actually speaks sense adults are trying to silence him or make him change his mind through hurtful words and even physical violence?
I know that Laksh slapping Shekhar is being perceived as being irrespectful but IMO if you treat others with respect you get it back and if you treat them wrong then you'll get that back too. He shouldn't have slapped Laksh and Laksh wouldn't have slapped him. Just because he's older that doesn't give him the license to do whatever he wants.
- DP said something like "Kisi aur ke rishte ko Thor ke apna mehel kese khara kar sakte ho?"
Excuse me..? Isn't this what Ragini did and has been doing since the very beginning? Why should Laksh sacrifice his happiness for someone who's as guilty (or even more) as him?
- Anapurna saying "Tumhe kya lagta ha tum hamesha sahi ho?" was incredible.
Seriously? Were Laksh's parents right when they tried to force him to marry a criminal? To look past her flaws and spend his whole life being unhappy?
- Ragini's dadi saying "how can you do this to my Lado, how can you do that etc":
Is the most annoying thing ever. Her "Lado" can inflict pain (emotional, physical and even try to kill) to others but she shouldn't be on the receiving end? Uh, why?
And the pre-cap...Shekhar is a selfish father. How can he sacrifice one daughter's happiness for the other? Kya khush hone ka haq sirf Ragini ko ha? When Swara was going through divorce or in such other istances when Swara was outed from MM house, why didn't he ask the same from Ragini? I know Swara is mahaan so I don't expect her to say no but I really hope Sanskar does something since atm he's the only one with a functioning brain.
Anyway, the adults in this serial give hypocrisy a whole new meaning.
