If God wills, Sonam will win the Filmfare of Best Actress or the critic one. I hope the movie wins something. It would be nice if the movie gets to the National Awards.

The competition lies in Rangoon (film, director, actress...), Sarabjit and Vidya's Begum Jaan if they are out this year imo.

Also I think Sonakshi's Akira might be a surprise. The film has her on a women oriented role while Konkona and aditya makes a special appearance in the film😊 But we'll see how the year ends

I didn't name Akira because I don't know if it will be more a masala movie in which Sonakshi will be a badass. I haven't seen the original version but indeed, Sonakshi might be a contender too.

Kangana is a more accomplished actress and Rangoon sounds like a gem. I would not rule her out completely.

I think PC would outshine them both in Gangajaal but it has got no buzz and it will most probably end up as a flop.

Neerja as a film is going to win several awards that's for sure.

But Sonam as an actress will have some competition.

I'd also say that it's too early to say on the projects of other actresses as well..who knows all their films turn out to be 'naam bade darshan chhote'

There are many movies where actresses might surprise

Alia in UP, parineeti in MPB, everybody forgetting Befikre's Vaani--if its anything like DDLJ, she will be sure shot winner

Obviously there are other strong contenders- Ash, Vidya, Anushka, Kareena and Kangana...

DP and PC have seldom chances...same goes with sonam
