Hello Guys! Here with next chapter, but before that, i wanna clear few doubts, you guys must be having.
Someone asked me, why taani was still staying in Rey's penthouse when she is rich and can afford living at some other place, the answer is, she didn't want to hurt him more, by leaving him.
When Taani & Rey met for the first, Rey was not married to sharon. There will be another flashback where I'll show about his marriage with sharon & taani's reaction. This chapter is in present.

Chapter 13 (a)
Taani fidgeted with her fingers nervously as nandini dragged her inside the singhania mansion, she didn't wanted to come, even denied many times but nandini paid no heed to her and dragged her along with her since they are leaving for goa today, they all decided to meet at singhania mansion.
"Mom! Mom!" Nandini shouted out for her mother, after some time, avatika came out of the kitchen and smiled at them, making taani drawn into the pool on guilt again. These people are being so nice to her, and she felt hurt and angry over herself knowing, one day she will the reason of their pain.
"Hello, taani beta. How are you?" Avantika smiled warmly at the sweet girl, she likes her which was evident in her behavior toward taani. She had heard alot about taani from nandini.
"I'm good, aunty. And you? Nandini said you weren't well-"
"I'm good now, beta, you think my over possessive kids will let me roam around if i wasn't well." Avantika joked, taani giggled along with her. Nandini pouted in annoyance.
"Mom, where is bhai and others, we have to leave for goa." Nandini asked her mother, who pointed at room across the hall.
"All are there, waiting you both." Avantika told them, nandini smiled at her mother and taking hold of her hand, she dragged taani toward the room.
"I know how to walk by myself, girl. No need to drag me-" Taani snapped at her, nandini stuck her tongue out at her. Taani held her breath as she stood outside the room, she knew he was inside. And her heart was beating loudly against her ribcage, she will see him after a week. After 7 days he will be infront her eyes but she has to maintain distance. He will just nandini's brother, not her lover. She thought as her heart clenched painfully.
Nandini pushed the door open and entered inside, taani followed her behind, taking slow baby steps. Telling herself to be strong. She lifted her eye lashes and let her gaze roam around for a moment before they stopped on him, he was sitting there with his friends, manik & the other was swayum, she guessed. He was talking but suddenly stopped when he felt her presence around him.
To make sure he wasn't hallucinating, he looked around and found her there, standing beside his sister. He forgot to breath seeing her, relief wash over him when he saw her there. After a week he was seeing her and that one week seems like ages to him. It's impossible to live without her, without her beautiful smile. He concluded.
"Hey, guys! As i informed you all that my best friend will be coming with us, here is she. Some of you might not know her, so let me introduce you to her. She is taani, my bestest friend." Nandini squealed in excitement, she pulled taani in side hug. Rey smiled seeing his sister jelling up with taani, he felt happy that someone is there for her, because he know how lonely she must be feeling in this tough phase.
Taani gave a small smile to them as they all returned the smile, thats when she noticed her, Sharon was there, standing in corner with the girl she met in mall, Kriya, thats her name. She remembered and wonder what she is doing here?
"Can you believe, bhabhi invited this girl to come with us. We have to tolerate her on whole trip now." Taani snapped out of her thoughts when she heard nandini complaining, her tone was barely audible, only for taani to hear.
"This girl is as weird as the combination of ice cream & aloo parantha." Taani mumbled, noticing how kriya was staring at her, there was something in her, she couldn't ignore, she gets negative vibes off her.
"If girls are done with your gossiping, I think we should leave. Get your luggage and meet outside." Manik said to all, they all got up and left the room. Taani & Rey were last to leave.
"I'm happy you are coming with us." Rey whispered softly, looking at her with soft smile playing on his lips.
"Nandini forced me."
"Well, I'm glad she did." Rey whispered back, smirking at her causing her to narrow her eyes at him. Just then they heard nandini calling out for her, she gave a small smile to him before she walked out of the room, leaving him behind.

Along with nandini, Taani was sitting on the back seat of his car while front seat beside him, was occupied by his wife, sharon, much to his disliking. Others were coming in manik's car.
"Rey, stop the car near the dhaba. All must be hungry-" Sharon said to him, Rey nodded while he kept stealing glances at his girl from rear-view mirror. She was busy in talking to nandini, but he could tell she was uncomfortable seeing him with sharon. And he was hating himself for putting her in situation like this.
