Ranbir, who is shooting Jagga Jasoos according to reports, may have tried to put the media into tizzy regarding his relationships but there's someone who he cannot hide from. No points for guessing it's his dad Rishi Kapoor and you know what happens when your parents are asked the most typical question ever! So in an interview recently with a leading daily, Rishi was asked if he thinks Ranbir should find a girl and settle down, to which a proud father said:
"Of course, he should. He's 33 now. But having said that, it's entirely upto him who he chooses. I never asked my father who I should marry. I just went to him for his blessings. Ranbir, too, will not seek our approval; only our blessings. I would never do matchmaking for him."
Rishi also compares his acting talent with Ranbir. "While I am a spontaneous actor, Ranbir combines the best of both, method and spontaneous acting. And he has got his head firm on his shoulders. It's important for parents to not push their kids into a field they're not interested in," says a proud father!
When all eyes are set on the news regarding Ranbir's marriage, Rishi Kapoor seems unperturbed by this issue and is also liberal enough to not indulge into his son's personal affair. This definitely should be the new age parental goals for sure!
