Not Ayushmann, here's who was the first choice opposite Parineeti Chopra in Meri Pyaari Bindu'

Parineeti Chopra recently announced her much-awaited comeback vehicle. Titled Meri Pyaari Bindu, it will be produced by YRF and Maneesh Sharma and will have Pari playing an aspiring singer in it. Joining her is her singer buddy' Ayushmann Khurrana as well. But there's something not many know about the film.

Meri Pyaari Bindu was offered to someone else before Ayushmann and he had rejected it. Who was it? Arjun Kapoor. Yes, there were strong rumours that Arjun and Parineeti are teaming up one more time, post-Ishaqzaade in a Shimit Amin film. Well, that news was not totally correct as the film they were approached for together was this one and not Shimit's film.

But destiny had its own course and once Arjun decided to opt out, it was Ayushmann who took it up. Ayushmann will be seen playing Tamilian Pari's Bengali boyfriend in the film which is set in the era of the audio cassettes and old Hindi songs.
