The Kar Gayi Chul song from Kapoor & Sons would have worked like a charm on Kareena. The lyrics are all her. Can't help but feel like she would've been the best choice for the role as well.

Arjun has let go of himself..He doesn't look half as charming as he did in Ishaqzaade but i don get the criticism..Isn't he supposed to play this laidback character who gives a damn about the rules society sets for ppl? Isn't he supposed to be this guy who lacks ambition and happy doing stuff for his wife at home? I highly doubt he is supposed to have a toned body or be super energetic anyway..While the general criticism about his weight is fine, i just don get why he isn't right for this character 😕

People are down on Arjun in general because he's flopping. Everything else about him (looks, weight) is just being piled on as a reason. If he had hits coming off of movies before this, no one would be saying anything of the sort because the trailer and stills so far don't give much nuanced inclination about what the character is supposed to be like or how well/not well Arjun is playing it.

Exactly..For all we know, he might be well suited for the role 😆 But yeah, i wish he lost weight and showed more enthusiasm..I still remember swooning after watching Ishaqzaade 😆
