Silsila- movie

Today for d first time i saw silsila. It was indeed a nice movie.
All d character were nice but i dont know who was wrong or right. While watching movie sometime i felt rekha and amitabh should move on there life with their respective partner but we all knw everything is fair in love and war. And other hand i also felt jaya shld understand tat their marriage was compromised but amitabh shld have confessed his past nd he was wrong at tat part, also jaya nd amitabh shld have tried to make their marriage work. But life cant be lived with compromised relation.

Want to knw different thought about this type of complicated relations. Discuss

Atleast way better than KANK. I think Amitabh was in dilemma after his brother death he ends up marrying his brother fiance but yet his heart still beats for Rekha he was wrong too for not explaining to her in the first place that he is in love with someone else he ends up breaking Rekha heart and then Jaya by cheating her on. I actually felt bad for both woman though Jaya character was irritating in parts because she also forced him to married her.

I think the ending was fine though

I feel that it should have had kank's ending. I think the movie was very honest till the ending. Maybe the director got scared to show such a bold ending at that time. Bt its 1 of my fav movies.

i agree with jaya part, she was selfish at some part.
I thgt she would understand rekha nd amitabh since she was also in love with sashi nd got preg.
Nd i doubt d ending, he came back bcoz of child not her.

agree with d ending part, it shld have kank ending.

But their is diff between kank nd silsila-
1. In kank srk nd rani started their relation while cheating their partner nd somewhat tat was lust in starting which eventually developed in love.
But in silsila rekha nd amitabh relatiom was started with love nd which was acceptable. Nd then amitabh marry jaya which was a compromised nd jaya was well aware of d situation.

2. In silsila ending seem to be compromised, here we see jaya as a weak lady whose man is coming bcoz of child not her.

But in kank ending was nice where preity nd abhishek were seen as strong who didnt bound their partner to be with them becoz of child or guilt. Inspite dey moved on with their heads up nd on top of tat uniting their x partner with their love who cheated on them.

this movie was a milestone in Amitabh-Rekha affair.

the movie was based on their real relationship, I wonder how they did it.
