Deepak Solanki and Kantilal Ganatra - two men who had immense passion for cricket. But circumstances in life thwarted their dreams. And yet their passion didn't cease. They continued to keep their dreams alive in their little ways- Kantilal through his training camp while Deepak through training kids in his neighbourhood and now training Dharaa. On one look, it might seem that they both have failed when it comes to realising their dreams but on the contrary, despite what life brought forth, they never let the fire in them fade. And therein lies true victory!!

And ultimately like the coach said: it shouldn't be about playing to reach the national team but about playing good shots.

It's really nice that not just Dharaa's journey that is inspirational but even these bits in the story are truly inspirational and gives an overall positive feel to the story... 👍🏼

22nd Feb:

Dharaa has been so passionate about cricket right from her childhood. So I wondered what would make her give up cricket? And it makes sense that if she gives up her dream, it would be only for her father; for the only one who stood by her side and supported her dreams against all odds. The incident where Deepak stakes his health for Dharaa to continue playing her best shows how much he values Dharaa's dreams over his own life. And so it's no wonder that Dharaa wants to choose her father's wish over her dreams.

But Dharaa's choice was a difficult one - one one hand, her dream, her passion and on the other, her father's wish. And in an ideal world, Dharaa would have been able to choose both instead of having to give up one for the other.
