TM,U forgot to add Manisha and Tabu in the poll.Manisha was on top after Khamoshi,Agnisaakshi and other movies.

Kajol came in the later half of 90s.Sridevi was there for the earlier half buf madhuri was one who was in demand for the whole decade.

Although My Most Fav Actress of 90's was Karishma . Infact she is my All time Fav Actress 😳 . But If U ask about Top Ranking , then surely Madhuri was on top .

Rakshak Janwar were flops IIRC.

Janwaar was a huge hit in 1999. And Rakshak was a hit in 1996.

Biwi No1 - She played the title role of the determined wife - fighting back to get back her loser husband.
Haseena Man Jayegi, - She was the female lead and added to the Box Office along with Govinda.
Hum Saath Saath Hain - Again she was the female lead and headliner despite not being paired opposite Salman Khan, all songs etc were pictured on her. Her name came right after Salman Khans before Saifs, Tabus, Monish's or Sonali Bendre's. Surely that was NOT a coincidence or mistake on Sooraj Bharjatya's part.

Fiza- She was the main drive- and the plot revolved around her. Hrithik was seen for 15 mins.
Zubeidaa - again the story revolved around Zubeida and not Manoj Bhajpai.
Hero No1- Equal Screenspace as Govinda,
Dil to pagal Hain - despite playing second fiddle she held her ground opposite a senior actress such as Madhuri.
Raja Hindustani - again her character was essential to the movie and the plot. There is a reason why she was called ''Rani Hindustani' for some time.




And I clearly stated which time span I am referring. I never said I was referring to the entire decade but from 96 to 2002.
