Character Of The Week: "Ragini Maheshwari" The Imperfect One

She is flawed. She has made mistakes and she has repented. Not just repented she has been brave enough to accept it and move past it to create a new life of hers with just a new future to look forward to. Growing up as an orphan child would have probably been very hard for her. No love of mother, a careless father and very orthodox grandparents' life had been unfair to her and that show up in her thoughts too.
Falling for the boy whom her family chose for her was not exactly her choice but she fell so hard that without him she could possibly not imagined another life. Not just that she has been manipulated almost all the time and her innocent eyes have been a charmer. She grew up living up to the expectations of others but probably never wanted anything for her. Shy, introvert and reserved she is the daughter everyone loves to have. Life sure added twist and turns when she fell for Laksh so hard because not only did this ideal daughter changed she had a complete makeover too.
She was manipulated and although she tried hard not to fall for it eventually she did because well love is blind and everything is fair in love and war. She fell for this and did some mistakes, some really hurtful. She tried killing her sister, insulted her in laws, and victimized herself just for the sake of love. However Karma strikes back and she had to eventually pay for her bad deeds and she did it wisely. Although still skeptical she gave in and repented. She was guilty and now finally proving herself she is back.
This time rather a better version because her innocence now speaks for her. She might not be her naive self but she is smart too. She plays her cards well and now knows what family is and what relations actually mean. The best part of this character is not it is grey shaded negative and flawed and yet the protagonist; what amazes me is that the character knows her mistake and she is brave enough to accept it. Every character is flawed but accepting and getting past it takes real guts and this is a really positive aspect to the show.
Not to forget to mention the makers and the actor playing it all so well. Right from her anger to not getting what she wanted to her almost psyched behavior in doing wrong things convinced the viewers and made us go mad at her too. The acting is on point and the expressions too are delivered at time. The dialogues are given perfect although we would not mind her speaking up more often too. The character progression is commendable and the grey shades to this character seem legit.
Ragini Maheshwari we love this imperfect you and wish to see more shades to you. Congratulations to the actress who portrays this all so well and the character does not feel real but relatable too.
