Abhi had already requested the police commissioner to do their best to find Sarla Maa.
And the police had asked them to give all information too.
Pragya suspected possible involvement of Tannu in Sarla Maa case. Of course she had no proof. But this was a major clue with many things adding up- the locations students said, Sarla maa missing time, Sarla Maa worrying for Pragya's life... all could be added together!
So, if Pragya brought police in with her and followed Tannu with them, they could have had better equipment and expertise to follow Tannu and get to Sarla Maa!
Did Pragya really do justice to Sarla Maa here by not telling the police about what she suspects?
I think police could have helped this situation better than Pragya foolishly trying alone. Yeah she had Abhi with her, but of course he was no help with him knowing nothing.
