AHHH! Today's episode was perfect! I don't even know where to begin!
Jasmin & Sidant: I think Tashan E Ishq is one of the best shows on Zee TV right and I think that is due to the great story line and the fantastic lead actors. The way Jasmin and Sid portrayed those raw emotions today gave me goosebumps. Their expressions were beautiful and their voice modulations were on point.
Saree Unraveling: I won't say much on this. As some of you may know, Maya aur mera 36 ka akdha hai. I'll give myself high blood pressure if I dwell on her too much. All I will say is that it is worth noting her brother-in-law gave her a coat rather than her husband. Her accusations were incredibly hurtful but it made me laugh a bit because she thinks Twinkle is jealous that Yuvraj loves her...jokes on you babe because he STILL loves your sister and your sister has the very embodiment of husband's goals so she doesn't even need to be jealous of your "happiness".
Kunj: What I've surmised from watching Kunj's interactions thus far is that he has a fun-loving, Type B personality. I don't think he's someone very vocal about his feelings and emotions unless he needs to be, he shows his care and love through his actions. And he SO did today. From him going to hit Yuvraj, to holding Twinkle's hand to take her away to carrying her inside, it all screamed the genuine affection he held for her. When Twinkle had her breakdown, his expression broke my heart- the pain, the desperation, the worry. He quite literally treats her like a precious doll and it's so endearing to watch. I think the beauty of their relationship is that they don't constantly need to be saying "I love you", their actions clearly display it. Words lose meaning when repeated yet actions don't. It's more important to show someone you love them than tell them. When someone is going through a tough time, it's hard to know what to do especially if the person claims to want to be alone. When you care about someone, that is the hardest thing to do, watch them suffer while you stand helplessly. Kunj did not do that- hell, he broke through a door, just so he could provide Twinkle with some support. I like that he did not continue to tell her to stop crying, to let things go, to wait it out; he just wanted her to be safe inside and he gave her what she needed- some time. Even better was the bit when he carried her and she jerked away yet he did not let her go- Twinkle is someone very confident, independent, headstrong, etc., she wants to fix the world and carry all this weight on her shoulders but Kunj grounds her. I liked that Kunj's priorities lay with Twinkle's emotional, mental, physical health then the mess with Mahi. I think he took it even more seriously today because he saw Twinkle in such a vulnerable state.
Twinkle: Bechari. I feel for her. She's so desperate to save her sister who could care less. I would reach into the TV and give her a hug but Kunj's got her ;)
So I feel like this was a mass of unorganized thoughts, if you were able to get through this, let me know what you think!
