Well leela as a character has become helpless now. She is caught betweem her two daughters. She wants to protect twinkle and that's why she is asking kunj to take her away

As for mahi, her bond with mahi is already strained and I don't think she wants it to her more complicated. Also mahi amd leela don't share the bond leela and twinkle share. Sure mahi is her daughter amd she did try to delay the wedding but RT is more close to mahi. So she can't deal with her the same way she dealt with twinkle

Its probably bcuz, twinkle despite knowing everything btw her mother n Anita got in a relationship with him n mainly cuz she hid it from her mother for 7 good years. But maahi on the other hand knew nothing about that n ofcors she has met her after such a long tym so...But yea I don't understand why Leela at least not warn her about uv, she knows he cant change but still she behaves so diplomatic nowadays...like pta Ni kya sahi hai kya galat, I mean u seriously have a doubt?
