Indian batting star Virat Kohli has recently been in the news for his rumoured break up with girlfriend and Bollywood divaAnushka Sharma and now according to some reports, he is enjoying this single life. A recent post from the player's Instagram account had raised a lot of questions. The cricketer had posted a selfie of himself with a caption "heart broken" but promptly deleted it. This initiated a lot of buzz regarding his relationship status with the B-town girl. As reported by Mumbai Mirror, the cricketer attended a party thrown by actor Angad Bedi held at a five-star nightclub in Mumbai on Saturday. According to sources, the cricketer let himself loose on the dance floor enjoying the gathering thoroughly. He also went on to greet other present there saying, "I'm single, let's dance". People close to the dashing Delhi boy disclosed that he seemed happy and was "back to his natural, old self" after a long time.
One of the guests at the party, who had some interactions with Kohli, disclosed that Kohli admitted being "cloistered around his controlling girlfriend".Other sources close to the duo revealed while Anushka has preferred to keep quiet about the whole matter, Kohli has managed to come out of it quite smoothly and rumours that he is striving hard to win the heart of Anushka back must be ignored.
The source came clean about the entire episode. "Virat proposed marriage around New Year's Eve. Anushka rejected it, categorically stating that it would be better for them to focus on their careers instead. They are both young and have a long journey ahead of them."
