Why Toshi is better than other singers - Page 4

Firstly, there was a tremendous effort by the person posting the original thread to technically show how Toshi is a superior singer.

Toshi is a good singer but not a great singer as many including this person has hyped him to be. Just because you are die hard fan of Toshi, our legends of film industry for last so many decades are now not worthy?????

No doubt that all Bollywood singers are not classically trained or no technicalities of music but all of them had something special and magical in their voices. Udit Narayan had no classical background and haven't seen him sing any classical songs but his voice quality is supreme.

Mhd Rafi didn't have much classical background but he still sang many classical based songs better than anyone.

Bollywood songs are not for classically trained singers or people who understand depths of music. It is for general public who can appreciate anything that sounds good. Having said that, biggest flaw in Toshi is that he always tries to complicate a song when it is not necessary.

What are comments of Abhijeet worth? We know how judges over-hype in this show.

Agreed Toshi is good singer and hope he grows more and achieves heights. He deserves admiration but not the crown of best singer of India.

mr zaki .. i agree with u 100% . toshi has a style of his own. and he cannot be compared to anyonther participants of VOI. his singing and all the harkats is mesmarising and commendable.

Mr. Zaki seems to be a big fan of Toshi he has shown his love for him through his research on music. these are his own views if you ppl donot agree with him that is your problem but i dont understand why are u being so rude and passing harsh and very personal comments....
healthy criticizm is always welcome but some ppl are just showing their jealosy against a singer .. do you think it is a positive attitude..
it is my humble request to everybody if you have some favorite singers write about them about their singing abailties i m sure they must have some good qualities in them as God has made everybody special so plz go and research on it try to gain some knowlede about music instead of passing bad comments and hurting other peoples feelings...

Missing Taal is okay!!! WOW!!! Never knew this factor is allowed in singing and that it is considered to be a plus point. I have serious doubt over the person's music knowledge. The way he has made his points I am sure tomorrow we might hear from him that Besura singing is also an art.😆

Toshi is just a beginner and has very far to go and should never be compared to the legends or established singers.

However, I am sick and tired of reading sarcstic comments about Toshi and people making mockery of him and his singing........ 😕

Toshi is an exceptional singer, yes. He has an in depth knowledge of music which is more of a God gift than anything else, yes.

Toshi better than Manna Dey? Ugh ugh.....bus yahin pe kuch jyada lapet diya....😆 Itna ki bichari patang hi kat gayi......😆
