Agree and we'll thought write up. But I wonder what happened which prompted you to write this. After all that you karnalis went through in the MB forum can something else hurt you.

I don't know if i can comment here because i am NOT a karna fan.But agree with you that liking or disliking is all personal choice. My affections are all for my favourite character Arjun and i am without any doubt a hard core Arjun lover but that does not mean i hate Karna. I do not know why people believe that one who loves Arjun should hate karna or vice versa. Just because they have been rivals doesn't mean that we who have joined together out of love for them (on opposite sides maybe) should be rivals as well. Do we often forget that there is another side to this story that as much as these two were foes, they were just in the same way blood brothers as well?
No two of us are the same and we naturally tend to have different tastes, ideas and opinions. So quite naturally some of us are karnalis, some are drauholics , some Arjun fans and yet other groups of people who may have similar thoughts in some contexts but no one can be exactly similar out of obvious reasons that we all have differences.So if a karnali has a liking for arjun or draupadi, there is certainly no law against it, is there? I mean we all are living in a democratic nation after all and we have the right to speech and to have our own opinions.
Some people tend to bash other characters for their favourites. Ok, granted that they have every right to put forth there personal views but what we all need to learn is to understand the integrity of each individual and respect each others opinions.
I will always have an extra ounce of admiration for Arjuna but that does not mean i hate karna. I LIKE karna too for some different reasons but at some instances i do feel that he wasn't justified and i admit i dislike some actions of his at some places but that small disliking is in no way something called 'hate'. I wrote 2 out of my 4 works on mb with karna in them because i genuinely wanted to understand what he might have felt or gone through. Where i feel someone is not being right, he is not being right , that is it! But hate and dislike are surely two different words altogether. And i think some of us misinterpret these two words too!
Let me make myself clear. Oxford English dictionary defines HATE as 'Intense dislike or feeling of antipathy or aversion towards'. So now, all i have is a puny disliking for karna.

Somehow with the repetition of the word 'phool', you reminded me of the great 'Mahayuddh' between praja fans and praphool fans on the bkvpmp forum. And that was another example of people not respecting each others opinions.🤢🤢 People were so crazily bashing each other! I am a praja fan always and do have a disliking for phool but bashing someone like that is just not done and i am so glad that many of us resisted and tried our best to maintain peace.
