The episode starts with Survi trying to get an auto to return her home as her car is broken. Meanwhile, the merriment goes on and they try to engage survi. A dancer moves against kartik and he barely controls himself in his inebriated state. However, survi finds him while he composes himself, and is then shocked and angry to see her. Tai watches them with amusement. Kartik places his glass down then walks to survi, who tries to explain but fails miserably seeing his temper. He drags her to the centre of the hall and introduces them all, saying that their wait is over as his wife finally had the time to come to the function. kartik mocks and sarcastically welcomes her in the party that the much awaited person finally arrives and how they should welcome her. Survi feels abashed as he keeps mocking her saying it's his birthday party but she seems to be the chief guest. Survi requests him to stop this. He asks her not to stop because the pain is less but his torment is more, so he keeps ranting on how their marriage happened very weirdly and though he has apologised several times, she hasn't forgive, owing to principles. He says that she is so angry that she had to be reminded of his birthday and comes to the party as a guest at the end. Tai asks him to stop this as he is tainting the reputation of his family. Kartik asks her to understand his pain too, as survi always wins them shedding tears. Tai asks him not to speak like this. Kartik gets on his knees and thanks survi for giving his birthday till date, in a mocking fashion. Survi is appalled and in tears, when he asks if she is satisfied now. Tai smirks seeing her humiliation. Kartik breaks on the floor. The others come to help him but he says to leave him alone as he knows how to stand up after falling. He stands and asks the guests to leave as they have met his wife. He goes for his room. Survi is distraught seeing him like this. tai says sorry to the guests from karik's behalf. They starts badmouthing about survi. Tai says that she wishes to celebrate her winning. survi leaves from there.
In their room, kartik blabbers why survi did so and spoilt his birthday as he missed her terribly. survi comes and sets the pillows beneath him. He drags her close, then shushes her. Survi is terrified. He says that he doesn't want explanations and knows he is being punished for marrying her. He says that he hates her. She wishes to tell him the truth but she has no clue whether he'll be able to like her afterwards. Survi comes down and lightens a lump. Tai comes to taunt her asking whatever she upto now, it isn't going to be of much use. Survi tells sternly that people like her always underestimate the weak. Tai says that she has enjoyed what kartik did to her. Survi says that she lights up at the lowest of things but asks her to understand that she won't win the war. She says she cannot separate them by such small fights as kartik's heart is a diamond, not glass, which isn't brittle. She says determinedly that before this lump burns out she will get kartik back. Tai listens her and gets a little nervous seeing her confidence. Survi challenges her that within the next 48 hours, she will taste her first defeat and that's her promise to her. She assures that by the next 48 hours, kartik will be at her side and against her, because she sides with the truth while tai is on the side of deception, lies, betrayal and conspiracy.
