Hrithik Roshan was also a part of Thug. The actor even delayed the film to give more time to Mohenjo Daroand his next film with father Rakesh Roshan. But it seems that he has walked out of the film because he wasn't convinced of his part in Thug. If you didn't know, then Hrithik's part was going to be somewhat like Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) in the Pirates Of The Caribbean series. Our source had revealed to us earlier, "Thug has a huge budget and Hrithik wants to make sure the script is in its right place. Since a lot of focus is on the special effects, he is worried that the story and plot might take a back seat."

While we aren't sure if Hrithik is part of this film anymore, we are sure about Parineeti's bagging the movie. few months back, news broke out that Dhoomdirector Vijay Krishna Acharya (aka Victor) will be directing a pirate-fantasy film, Thug this year. While there hasn't been any official announcement, a lot ofstories about the film have been leaked. The film is said to have taken inspiration from the Pirates Of The Caribbean series and Yash Raj Films were planning a whole new Thug franchise if the first film does well. Many people were eager to know about the cast of the film and we have EXCLUSIVE information that Parineeti Chopra has been signed for the film.

There was a lot of buzz that Parineeti would be part of Sultan and she was having meetings with Aditya Chopra and other members at YRF for Salman's film. However, it seems that info was mere speculation' and it is Victor's film that she has signed. As a source close to Yash Raj Films reveals to us, "Parineeti has signed Victor's Thug and the announcement about signing her as the female lead will be made in the coming week."
