CHAPTER 31 :- THE BLACK NIGHT!!!

The snow poured at entire Simla on the darkest night!
It was so dark that it seemed that the goddess Selene was angry with the human kind and has ordered the moon to hide!
The mercury levels dropped down to a drastic level!
Looking at the pale face adorned with saline pearls, her nose turning red as she shivered due to sobs and cold, he wasn't able to conclude whether he should disturb her privacy or walk back!
She was crying, leaning on the railing of the college terrace since 15 mins!
Reluctantly deciding to let go, he turned, only to run to her the very next moment, listening to her shriek as she sat down on her knees with a thud!
Khushi screamed with pain overtaking her senses as she held her head!
Arnav ran to her and embraced her in a hug, kneeling down to her level!
"Aaah... it... it hurts!", she cried as her head hurt like hammers were aimed at it!
"Ssshhh... be strong! Just the matter of a day!", Arnav spoke sweet nothings!
He began soothing her by rubbing her back!
Her salty tears were now wetting his shirt!
All of a sudden, a hollow feeling took over him!
He was feeling helpless!
Compulsion was at its peak!
More than he had ever had before!
He had never felt this, not even when he had lived 2000 years as a living corpse!
Khushi held his shirt in fists and screamed whilst Arnav's eyes shed tears as he hugged her more tightly!

Lavanya snuggled into Parth as he wound his hand around her shoulder!
They smiled looking at each other!!
Leaning on his shoulder removing the handle of the theatre seat, she whispered,
"I had never thought that I will fall for someone in so less time! I love u Parth!"
"I love u too!", Parth confessed!
And amidst the flakes of snow pouring at the world outside, the two lovers in the theatre felt fortunate to have found each other!!!

"Aaah! Aah!", the room was filled with groggy cries of pain!
Randhir was sound asleep in the room but the pain was still giving him hard time!
Suddenly his cries started subsiding!
This was not out of blue!
It was because of a soft pair of hands that started massaging his forehead!
The soft touch was a remedy!
His lips began curving in a smile... and the person in the hoodie, the owner of those hands, smiled looking at him!

"Khushi ssshh! Be strong! Please be strong!", he crushed their frames and pleaded!
It was as if his life depended on her welfare!
Khushi snuggled her head in the crook of his neck!
He felt relieved as her sobs began subsiding!
But suddenly... his eyes started turning blue, his head started hurting more than one could ever imagine!
Oh no! What was happening to him!
His nails began growing long!
His teeth transformed into dangerous fangs!
His eyes turned instant shades of greenish blue, then bluish and finally settling to blood red!
He has transformed into a complete vampire now!
Crushing Khushi more into himself, he began keeping Khushi firm in her place!
One look on him and the truth was exposed!
He feared the worst now!
"Oh no! Ab kya karun! I am transfiguring! Khushi ko kab tak rokun mujhe dekhne se! Kuch toh karna hoga warna is ladki ka shikar Siddharth se pehle mai rahunga... ya fir mai hi iska shikar na karlun...", Arnav thought nervously!
Khushi was shocked by the way he was holding her!
She was feeling something fishy!
She started struggling in his embrace to turn!
"Oh Shit! Why does she have to be so restless?! What should I do now?!"
Fortunately, a cunning plan occurred to him!
He slowly lifted his hand from her back and pressed her nape with his forefinger!
Khushi gasped, but the next second she was lying unconscious on his shoulder!
Arnav breathed a sigh of relief!
Lifting her head, he looked at that tear stained angelic face!
Oh how innocent she looks!
Her eyes rolled occasionally due to the pain and she began groaning slowly!
Cupping her cheeks with his hands, before he knew what he was doing, he lifted her head and placed a lingering kiss on her forehead!
She relaxed against his lips!
Now he slowly arched his lips towards her cheeks and kissed them one by one!
Oh what was happening to him!
He began staring at her smiling!
Had been in his senses, he wouldn't even have thought of doing anything like this, but now he was spell bound!
Spellbound by her beauty, her innocence, her... everything!
Suddenly a trickle on his head by the sudden pain brought him back to senses!
He blinked way too many times to understand what he was doing!
Guilt overtaking his senses, he kept her head on his lap n dialled a number!

The smiling lips did not know how they landed on the sleeping form's forehead!
She kissed his forehead for a good 2 mins before pulling back, her face inches away from his!
Sitting in front of him, his angelic face was a spell for her and she was definitely bound!
A very handsome, beardless young man with a s**y stubble and an ideal physique.
As the embodiment of perfectionism, he could be cruel and destructive too!
No doubt he was as divine as Apollo!
A perfect example of fine craftsmanship!
She examined the work of the Almighty with her gently slanting hazel eyes, running her slender fingers over his smooth carvings, perhaps blushing at his sweet smile and pleasuring moans and groans!
The sleeping Randhir was way too handsome than the arrogant awoke form... so innocent!
Venus and Cupid worked their charm on her. Sweetness flowed in her veins for the man who played there with his eyes closed!

Oblivious to her own actions, she forwarded her lips towards his, closing her eyes in anticipation of the coming pleasure, and touched them slightly with his!
He groaned in pleasure!
Taking all this as a dream, he wanted this slumber to last long!
Little did he know that this was not his dream!
With closed eyes still, he groaned in pleasure as she slowly held his lips in hers and sucked them gently, spellbound!

No this wasn't music from the skies, it was her mobile indicating an incoming call!
She left his lips and got up, staring at him in horror!
What the...! What was she doing?
She was repeating history!
His serene smile broke her heart!
It was as if she was ditching his innocence!
Giving him false hopes by falling for him!
She held her forehead, tracing her fingers in her hair in nervousness!
No she did not do this!
How can she? After all she was...
But she had! And she knew it!
Her tears found their way to the valleys of her face!
She wished she hadn't done this!

The melodious song again reached her hearing organ!
She realised her mobile was continuosly ringing from almost 5 mins!
Wiping her tears, she picked the call, knowing already who the caller would be!

Sanyukta :- "Hello Devil!"
Arnav :- "Angel! Mai terrace par hun! Plz come here, quick! Please!"
Sanyukta :- "Terrace par? Tum forest nhi gaye? Aur kya hua? Tumhari voice itni changed q hai?"
Arnav :- "Sab batata hun! U come soon!"
Sanyukta :- "Alright! I am coming!"

Putting her hoodie on, she rushed to the terrace!
Arnav stood there, his hands on the railing and back facing her!
Khushi was lying down with the jacket under her head!
"Devil kya...", her eyes landed on Khushi lying unconscious on the floor and she was afraid!
Arnav turned back listening to her!
"Angel actually...", his voice was completely changed with the fangs accompanying his teeth now!
Looking at him, she gasped!
For a second, she was scared by his true form!
Yes it was scary... he was scary... with his eyes red, his skin glowing, his nails long and his fangs erupting from his mouth!
It wasn't that she hasn't seen a vampire earlier, but he was scarier! May be because of this night!
She looked at him, then turned to Khushi and then again looked at him!
Then she realised the situation, rather mistook it!
The sleeping form of Khushi, Arnav's changed form! May be he had... oh no!
"What have u done to her? Have u killed her?", she asked in horror, approaching him, looking at Khushi all the while!
"U think I can do that?", Arnav asked!
"No... then what has happened to her?", she asked recollecting her composure and looking at him!
No doubt how much scary he looks in his vampiric form, she knew he was gold at heart!
"I made her unconscious!"
"What?! Why?"
"She was crying here... out of pain and just as we hugged, I changed into this! And I had to..."
"But couldn't u just change into a human again? Why this??"
"No I can't come into the human form until I feed myself, because today, my human form has gone! And until I feed myself from the sacred hunt, I ain't going to become a human again!"
"Oh god! Then u must rush to the forest!"
"I will! We need to take Khushi to the room and I need the hoodie for that! I can't take her like this u see!"
"Yeah!"
She removed her hoodie and gave it to him!
Taking Khushi back to the room and making her lie on the bed, Arnav bid adieu to Sanyukta and left for the forest!

A huge tent with a large roof was made in the centre of the jungle!
Entering in, he could see a small wooden plank arranged at the corner of the tent, for the hunted animal!
Muggle vamps, in number of 20 - 30, gathered together, absorbing the power that they were slowing receiving!
Daylight glow could be seen in the tent despite the charcoal dark night outside, the result being the glowing skins of the paranormal forms!
"Who is the hunter today?", Arnav asked his family!
"You!", Ananya declared!
"What? Why?", he was shocked!
"Don't u think, an off from hunting since almost a month was too much?", Vardhan cocked his brow!
"Ohk! Fine!", Arnav agreed reluctantly, "but what's the hunt?"
"The neighboring village, Dhalli, is facing a lot of terror these days! Being the gateway for the thickest forest in Asia, the Hasan valley, they are facing threat by a dreadful lion! It is attacking not only animals, but people. You have to hunt the lion for today!", Arjun declared!
Arnav nodded his head in acceptance!
Alright, it wasn't hard for him to hunt, being from a royal family!
"Get going soon then! Shyam and Aliena will come with u!", Ananya ordered!
"Alright!", the trio chirped in unison and set off to hunt the most dreadful beast, the lion!!!

I am soo sorry Pranu Di that I couldn't reveal Sanyu's past in this part but their were too many events to fit in and the chappy grew hell long so had to split it!
