"I love you, I love you, I love you... ... I love you Madhav"..Manu repeated looking in the mirror..."what with this three words"? Manu asked herself.. "Madhav has challenged me that I would have to say I love you him, but I won't give in this time... what does he think of himself? das sir wala rakshass hai Madhav, pata nahi kya kya chalta rehta inke dimaag me, mujhe pareshan karne k hazar bahane... kaun si larki apne hone wale pati o sb ghar walo k samne I Love You bolti hai.. Madhav is besharm but not me... Haan haan I Love him, but aise bolne se kya hota hai... pyaar tou mere dil ko, aatma ko pata hai, that every drop of blood that courses through my veins screams out his name"... Manu sits down tired of talking to herself... and decides she won't say I love you to Madhav before Marriage... Madhav who was spying and laughing silently watching her plight from the window left with a heavy heart. He had to do something to make her say it... he couldn't lose the challenge.
A servant informs Manu that Yuvraj asked for coffee from her.. Manu says to herself, "lo jee shadi hui nahi, pyaar ka izhaar hua nahi k bs order shuru ho gaye pati dev k, abhi khabar leti hoon Madhav ki". She makes the coffee although a bit annoyed with the order but still lovingly k Madhav ne itne haq se uss ko order dia... Manu was in a confused state of mind.. she was his best friend, now she was getting married to him... they had always been in a complex state fighting, making up, breaking up, then again making up, but their concern and feelings always pure and with love... she was still dazed that now she was to get married to Madhav.. how would it affect her equation with him, she was unable to cope or understand, how to fight and love him, follow his order or revolt against him all at the same time... with all this she reaches his room. She deliberates knocking first, then barges in without knocking. Manu finds Madhav sleeping and is annoyed and says quietly "rakshasss yuvraj sooo gaye, ab coffee kaun piye ga... all this is to trouble me". she keeps the coffee aside and watches him sleeping peacefully, with such innocence that her petty anger melts as quickly as it formed... how could she love him soo much and yet be angry all the time... she just kept looking at him, the image sinking in her mind... Madhav enjoyed watching her standing over him, by his bed... she was lost watching him... he sighs in his sleep and turns to the other side and pretends to talk in his sleep. He keeps his hand on a pillow next to his face and says " I love you Manu". Manu replies "I love you too Madhav" in her dazed state of mind. She was intoxicated by him. Madhav sits up and says "I won Manu". Manu gets out of her reverie and says "cheater"... and falls on him in hasty movement, their eyes met, their worlds crashed and yet they were in perfect union with each other...
