I watched the first few episodes of Thapki and liked the concept. The ThaRuv track was kinda typical so I expected them to settle down and diminish into the background like it mostly happens in SBS. But the Bihaan-Thapki track made me get some interest. I didnt predict marriage, but I did believe it is him that can challenge and make Thapki more confident. Dhruv is great, but he would have never gone against his mother like Bihaan did because he believed in Thapki. Bihaan does not look at her as a villian, but he will not give up on the truth either. Dhruv is more the 'Accept my fate and move on' kinda guy. He isnt gonna fight over something he thinks would be against his parivaar. I just expected Thapki to be different because it was supposed to address issues that people with stammering face. They started off showing that in a positive light, like Thapki makes a way in the office, but the essence got lost in the marriage track where she repeatedly has to hear taanas because of that (or random singing competitions...like wow). Her andha love for her sasumaa who does not care twopence about her just because Shradha has her assume Thapki wants Dhruv is going too far now. Hope this new track makes things clearer and she starts taking a stand for herself.
