Our glamorous T-20 cricketers are not used to cooling their heels for the filmi janta, we guess. It wasn't surprising then, that at an ad-film shoot recently, they were furious when Saif Ali Khan walked in almost four hours late.

Yuvraj Singh, M S Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh and Robin Uttapa reported on time (5.30 pm) to shoot for an ad film, for a premium liquor brand, on Monday. Saif, too, was an important part of the ad film. However, for a long time, there was no sign of him anywhere. The cricketers hung around for a while. After some time, they got restless and demanded to know where the actor was. Our source says, "The production members told them to hang on, as Saif was on his way. He would reach the venue by 8 pm."

The cricketers blew their top at this. They were aghast at Saif's unpunctuality and his disregard for others' time. After what seemed like an endless wait, the four cricketers started shooting their own portions. This was at 8.30 pm and Saif was nowhere to be seen yet.

At 9 pm, which was originally supposed to be pack-up time, Saif finally walked in. "The angry cricketers refused to take notice of the star. No one bothered to speak with Saif. They continued to talk amongst themselves, almost as if Saif didn't exist. He is not used to going unnoticed, so he looked miffed. Anyway, he kept to himself, too."

Clearly, it was a clash of egos. "Although they shot together, they did not interact at all. Dhoni and gang were having a good time together, but Saif wasn't part of it," says our source. The shoot continued till 12.30 am. The cricketers were heard complaining that they were kept waiting for over three hours, that too, for no fault of theirs. "They clearly said that it was Saif who was late. Saif, by then, had had enough. He retaliated," our source adds.

Saif, according to our source, said, "Main thode hi na jaan boojhkar let aaya hoon (I did not come late deliberately). I am coming straight from another shoot which got delayed." Apparently, this explanation did not pacify the cricketers and after pack-up, the T-20 gang left, still without uttering a word to Saif.

When contacted about the incident, Saif said, "I was shooting double shift and was a bit delayed and of course I apologised to the cricketers. It took awhile getting to Nariman Point from Film City. We finished well in time though, so no big deal. These things happen. I wasn't at a party, I was shooting."

ek cup kya ghar le aaye...so much attitude in these cricketers...

i mean i agree itz not their fault..and their anger is justified...waiting 4 hours for sum1 is untolerable...but cmonn..it happens...that doesnt mean u show a cold shoulder to ppl...if saif really asked for forgiveness...den just relax...not uttering a single word to him while shooting is kinda rudeeeee!!! den leaving without saying bye...lol...

I am glad that Cricketers showed him attitude👏. He deserves it. If he was running late then they should have re-scheduled or he should have apologized. Who is Saif? 😛

The cricketers are as important as Saif is, and they had the decency to show up on time. If Saif knew he was going to be late, he could have at least called or let them know.

Very inconsiderate and rude of Saif!!!
