While Sachin Tendulkar has dropped one place to be at 10th, Mohammed Yousuf, who was in prime form in the home series against South Africa, jumped 10 rungs to take the eighth spot in the list released on Wednesday.
The next Indian batsmen in the list is Yuvraj Singh at 17 followed by Mahendra Singh Dhoni at 18th spot. For Pakistan, skipper Shoaib Malik occupies 25th place.
The top-10 bowlers list is also without any players from the two teams.
India's bowling mainstay Zaheer Khan is way behind at 25 while Pakistan has Shahid Afridi is at 15th spot. Pakistan's pace spearhead Mohammad Asif is at a lowly 31st place.
The top-10 line-up remains unchanged and continues to be led by South African pacer Shaun Pollock. Ricky Ponting leads the batting list, and is followed by compatriots Andrew Symonds and Matthew Hayden.
Both India and Pakistan have 109 points in teams ratings with the latter perched at fourth position, one spot ahead of their archrivals.
World Champions Australia continued to top the team list with 128 points and are closely followed by South Africa, who have 123 points after their 3-2 ODI series victory against Pakistan
