Akhiraj's death confusion

Police must have done a postmortem, DNA test of Akhiraj's body before giving it to family. If they have done it than there is no question his return. Or is it a special police force employed only for Balika Vadhu drama😳? I don't remember how many times they have displayed extreme foolishness of police force.
