would you still like the Khans if they were not popular - Page 2

I still don't like Khans and guess wouldn't like them even if they were flops . My take on celebs are different, and I keep liking an actor even if he or she flops and I just suddenly don't start liking an actor just becos he's popular now ..

It's just I consider myself lucky that my most fav actors are big superstars and very popular but the liking would still be there if they wouldn't be as big as they are..

From Messi to Cruise to dicaprio and then hrithik and fawad , all are certainly popular and I happened to like them since their early work ...

I appreciate work rather than popularity. Salman was never my favourite until Bajrangi Bhaijaan(I liked him on Bigg Boss only).

I am shahrukh fan since he debuted on TV when he was nobody , besides my likings for him are not based on BW purely there are many other aspects of his life which i absolutely adore . I would continue to be his fan even when he is retired and not doing any BW movies .

I am not a Veer fan, never was. I enjoy his performances once in a while, but i find his off-screen personality far from endearing..🤔

I straight out dislike Ranbir, and have little patience to tolerate his face and voice 😆 Although i will admit i liked him in a couple of films like rocket singh and wus.

To be frank I am not really that crazy about the new bunch of actors. 😆 I dont find Ark that hot, I think Varun is a cry-baby and Sid is blah...I have never fawned over them like I did for the Khans or Akki when they were in their prime..


But I gotta admit, Khans rarely do good movies nowadays.. I still continue liking them mainly due to nostalgia. I dont know if my preference changes according to their success or not though...

Yes. The Khans were my introduction to BW. I have grew up with their movies, danced to their songs. Their movies are intertwined with my memories so they are like fond distant unclejis to me. 😛 😆

My liking towards star has nothing to do wid BO...

I like the actor over performance. (Not by hits). But then, most of the time they coincide. Like Ranveer. I had not bothered about this guy before. But BM poster and his expression there changed by feeling. Coincidently BM is also a hit movie. I liked Salman after a long time in BB. Similarly Akki. I have never been his fan, be it Khiladi or comedy. But I liked him in Airlift and I want to watch Baby now. Airlift also might become a hit. But my appreciation was not due to that fact. Exception might be Sharukh, I have sat through some dull films, just for him.

When BBB released, I finally found interest in someone who seemed charismatic & worth following among the younger generation. However over time, my liking for Ranveer has decreased because his recent movies (after Lootera) have all been subpar for me even though very ironically that's how he has gained hits and most fan-following.

I'm a very very fickle fan. Today I might be loving an actor, tomorrow I might feel that they are lame as eff. I don't even know what criteria I follow for liking an actor, sometimes it's the off screen show they put up and most of the times it's their 'recent' movies and their work in them. Doesn't have much to do with their box office numbers. But yeah, our liking does reflect in their box office status some times. Even the 'Success makes so and so appealing' applies more for the directors in my case. 😆
