True that. I also heard the Mammootty movie will be conventrating on the fag end of Karna's life and will be focussed on Karna as a man rather than warrior.

I am glad that people are now taking interest in the epics again..

In between people had lost touch with our culture n reading Ramayan n Mahabharat was being considered 'uncool' and 'old-fashioned'...

I am glad that people are taking interest in the epics...

However I hope these movies are factually correct.

A movie on Karna will obviously make him the hero...but other characters should not be reduced to villains n bitches to make him look great. Since everyone is saying that this director is one of integrity...I hope he would show that with ALL the characters...with ofcourse some affinity to Karna since the movie is on him...😳

Anyway...like I have always said...Karna is the most popular character of Mahabharat after Lord Krishna...

I voted for others for two reasons.
1) I have not seen an actor who fits to the exact description of Karna. The actors I found fitting to Karna's appearance the maximum are - Brandon Routh and Hrithik Roshan. But still I feel something is missing in them both.
2) I cannot choose between Prithvi and Aham. Both men look like Karna for me, but with a minor problem - Aham's eyes and Prithvi's voice. Karna had big, round eyes which Aham don't have. Prithvi's voice is really great compared to 99% actors but not as great as Aham's.

prithvi is a talented actor no doubt he will justify karna 100%

well i dont know much abt the director but believe mallu film industry😊

Ranveer Singh or Hrithik Roshan for me. Chosen these two simply based on their acting chops. The physical description of Karna is not mentioned in detail in the critical edition, so just going by how a warrior prince should look like in conventional terms, I'd go for these two. They can own tragic hero roles with elan.

From TV, it's of course Aham Sharma :)
