I have heartbreaking news for fans of JA. I have been in this forum for more than 2 years, I consider fellow fans as cyber acquaintances, we are one close knit online family.

In the article below the unfortunate girl took the most heartbreaking step, a petty difference like that should not be a reason to die. It is possible that there were accentuating circumstances and this incident was the thing that broke the camels back. I wish she was not a member of this forum, that will be too hard to take.

I also wish that God give us strength to deal with psychopathic siblings like this unfortunate girl had. That boy watched her die in front of him and did nothing.

Here is the news-

BHOPAL : A girl undergoing treatment in a hospital after she tried to commit suicide by hanging herself died on Saturday. She hanged herself after a fight with her younger brother on a petty issue.

The reason behind the clash between the siblings was that she wanted to watch a serial Jodha Akbar on TV while her brother did not let her watch it as he was watching a film.

According to Hanuman Ganj police, 18-year-old Priya Kuchbandia, daughter of Dharmendra, lived in Kabadkhana area and she was a college student.

She was at home on January 18 with her 12-year-old brother. Her father and mother had gone for their work while her brother was watching a movie on television.

She told him to change the channel because she wanted to watch her favorite serial Jodha Akbar. Her brother refused to switch over the channel. As a result she became so angry that she hanged herself in the house in front of him.

Her brother raised an alarm and called the neighbors and his parents immediately.

Parents with the help of neighbors took her to a Hospital. She was under treatment and died on Saturday. Police have registered an FIR and started investigation.

Accepted that being a die hard fan of anything or anyone , we become totally crazy for that but that isn't the only thing we have in our lives . There is much more that needs to be taken care else than this . I , myself , am a die hard fan of AkDha , but it simply doesn't mean , I'll forget everything else .

This shouldn't be the reason to die .

She would have thought about her family , her parents .

I guess , it was her anger , the biggest enemy of our lives .

It really is heartbreaking .

It made me remember my fights with my brother regarding the same topic , God !! Noo !!

I still can't believe this !!

This girl bottled up all the anger and frustration inside her. It kept building up. If she had shared it with someone maybe that stress could have lessened. Everyone of us feels life's pressure.

For anyone on this forum, when things get tough I request you to come to this forum and lighten the load. A sympathetic ear will be found here and care.

The sad thing about the story is that she was one of us, with similar likes and interest, atleast for the serial.

Sad and shocking as well! Don't know should I say or not, but I think the girl had any little psychological problem from earlier. Else is it possible for any normal person to finish her life as she had a little fight with her brother regarding a tv show! Some people use to have tendency of suicide!😔

Really sad! One should not be so addicted to anything that let him to lose the control on himself!

Absolutely right !!

This forum has gifted me a family and the ones who truly love you .

Got the ones here , with whom i share each n every phase of life , which i actually don't share even with my mother because of some reasons .

It happens in life sometimes that you become so angry that you lose perspective. I don't imagine she truly meant it, she wanted her brother to see how distressed she was.

Any sane brother would have capitulated at this extreme measure, but not this piece of work. He let her hang in front of himself and did nothing. What kind of a psychopathic mind does that. May he never have a moment's peace in his life again.

The sad thing about hanging is that there is no return, no chance to reconsider unlike other means like drug overdose or wrist slitting.

I too had fights regarding dis topic but gng to an extreme step is nt necessary
Yes we too r obessesed but we have many other things to do in our life apart frm watching JA

But in the news , its mentioned that the brother was merely 12 yrs old , during all this , witnessing that dreadful sight , his mind won't hv worked , he himself must had been in a shock . N there are the times during which , we being in shock , don't realise wt should we do , our brain stops working at that instant .

But yeah !! You said it right that he won't get peace , as soon as he realises , he'll live his life in guilt of not being able to help his sister .
