Party Venue,

" Arnav, do I really have to come?" Khushi asked uncomfortably looking at the crowd in front of them.

" What do you mean by that, Khushi? You are standing in front of the venue and you are asking if you have to come. Of course you have to and that's exactly why you are standing here." Arnav locked his arm with Khushi's while pulling her along with him, trying to avoid her sight as the contrast of her skin with the blood red dress was sending shivers down his spine while a desirous wave of feelings licked his spine.

As Arnav entered into the hall, Sheetal threw herself on Arnav, making him stumble back a few steps while Khushi couldn't help but chuckle at Arnav's condition.

" Why are you so late, Arnie? I was waiting for you so long." Sheetal seductively ran her fingers on Arnav, while Arnav squirmed under her touch like a touch-me-not.

" Um..I was waiting.f..for my date for the evening to be ready." Arnav's words made Khushi turn her face towards him with a shock, while Arnav gave her his victorious smirk while extracting his revenge for mocking at his situation.

" Date for the evening?" Sheetal pulled out of the hug while questioning with streaks of jealousy in her voice.

" Yes. Here's my date for the evening.." Arnav pulled Khushi towards himself by her waist as he eyed at her romantically while whispering huskily,"...Khushi Gupta."

While Khushi knew that it was just to distance Sheetal, somewhere her heart started fluttering and butterflies started flying in her stomach due to his proximity and his romantic gaze on her.

" Oh! Hello Khushi. Hope you have a great time here. Make yourself comfortable." Sheetal gritted her teeth in jealousy while moving away from there, while Khushi turned her face to look at Arnav, while the time just halted for them.

It was as if a cold breeze was surrounding them and everything blurred out. Arnav Singh Raizada never believed in filmy romance before his chocolate orbs clashed with the innocent hazel pools of a lady in his arms. As a faint crimson washed over her skin gently, unknown feeling vehemently arose in his heart, while their breaths staggered as they slipped into a loveful trance.

Their heartbeats were so loud and fast that they were resonating in each others' hearts in a clear synchronization of cadence of zesty passion. They forgot the time, which could have been minutes or hours, all they cared for was for the person in front of them.

" Shyam, do something about that Khushi. She is becoming an obstacle in our mission to conquer the Raizada empire." Sheetal shot a killer glare towards the lost couple, while Shyam sipped in wine from his glass lazily as lazy smirk played on his lips.

" You just think of ways to trap that Raizada, Sheetal. And leave this chick to me." Shyam walked towards the couple, as he cleared the throat which resulted in Arnav and Khushi moving away from each other while straightening themselves awkwardly.

" Hey Arnav! Why are you standing here, man? Go, get a bite from the buffet. The counters are soon going to be closed." Shyam's eyes lustily lingered on Khushi's body while she was too dazed to notice the lust in the air.

" Uh..Sure. Khushi, you want me to get the plate for you or would like to get one for yourself?" Arnav questioned her while still not facing her while Khushi faintly answered,

" You get it, Arnav. I will take a stroll meanwhile."

" So..Khushi right?" Shyam's question startled Khushi.

" Um..yes. Sorry, but I ain't sure if I know you." Khushi formally replied to him while facing him confidently.

" This is the first time we are meeting, Khushi. And hopefully not the last time." Shyam shamelessly flirted while Khushi gave him a stern look, while attempting to move from there while Shyam continued, " I am Sheetal's brother, Shyam. Very nice meeting you."

" Great meeting you too, Shyam." Khushi faked a smile to him while Shyam continued the conversation,

"I am sure beautiful girls like you like beautiful things. Let me show you something." Finding it to be indecent to walk away on the host, Khushi decided to follow him while her eyes searched for Arnav as her instincts warned her of something bad.

Pointing towards a pigeon, Shyam spoke with a evil smirk playing on his lips,

" You see that pigeon, Khushi? This is the prize of the person who manages to shoot it accurately. Pigeon meat is delicious, you know."

To say that Khushi was disgusted would have been a probable understatement as Khushi was scandalized by the words of Shyam. He was giving the life of something as a prize to someone who shoots it?

" It is due to stupid people like you that humans are often equated to animals. Do you even know what pain is? I am sure you don't. Because if you would have known what pain and fear of death was, then you wouldn't have stooped down to cage a bird, think of a game as heinous as this and a prize as inhumane as this." Anger took best of Khushi, while she took long strides to free the pigeon from the cage, while Shyam's eyes darkened with raw fury as unknowingly Khushi had insulted him in his own party in front of everyone.

Driven by anger, Shyam pulled Khushi along with himself to a room that was right beside the balcony, while no one cared about. Khushi struggled to be freed from his grip but he was proved to be stronger than her as she was pushed onto a bed in the room, as Shyam shut the door up.

" How DARE YOU insult me in the public for a stupid pigeon? You were successful in saving that pigeon, but will you be successful in saving yourself from me?" Shyam started unbuttoning his shirt, while fear evaded her thoughts and her mind screamed out only one name,

"ARNAV!!!"

Khushi was trying hard to not let Shyam touch her but it was of no avail as he proved to be much stronger than her, as he pushed her onto the bed, and hovered on top of her.

Everything turned black around her as fear clenched her heart in its tight fist. His touch was disgusting her as she called out to Arnav more and more loudly as her throat grew drier. As Shyam was about to pull down the zip of her suit and Khushi was about to lose her consciousness, the door opened with a click, revealing a angry Arnav, looking at Shyam like a bird of prey looked at its prey.

What was going to happen?
