Alia and Shahid to team up for Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi remake?

It seems the Shaandaar couple is set to feature together yet again. Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor may star in the remake of 1991 hit Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi.

It will be the first time that the actors will be seen working with director Mahesh Bhatt. According to reports, Alia Bhatt has been finalised to play Pooja's character from the original film while Shahid will play the character of Raghu Jaitley, essayed by Aamir in the original movie. "Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin is a goldmine which we will certainly revisit soon," Mahesh Bhatt told a daily. It seems that Mahesh will not be donning the director's hat for this movie. A source says, "Alia is very keen to be directed by Bhatt saab just once. She feels that the remake of Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin is the best occasion for it. But Bhatt saab is adamant too. He will get someone else to direct the film, but will write it himself. "

Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi starred Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt. It released in 1991 and was a superhit, especially the movie's songs.

This news keep on popping up. I wonder how true it is.

Why would Alia intentionally sign flop films by starring opposite shahid ? They made a bad pair once and audience will need ten-twenty years to forget the horror of their fairy tale called shandar .. Plss don't ruin a classic by remaking it ..

Their pairing was appreciated in songs and way before the movie was released. Just because you don't agree with doesn't mean that's the case.

I don't like their pairing , so what's their to agree or disagree ? And well it's obvious how much appreciation they have got 😆 .. Anyway stick to your own opinion , I'm entitled to mine ..
