I think it made sense that deok sun ended up with taek. I started off being a deok sun and jung hwan shipper and I was like why is there even a guess the husband mystery since it seemed obvious that deok sun and Jung Hwan would end up together but I also couldn't help but smile at the deok sun and taek scenes (Especially because Taek's smile is so adorable.) so I later became neutral and didn't mind who deok sun ended up with cause I liked both the guys.
Right when Deok Sun's friends tell her not to confess to Jung Hwan first and to wait for him to confess I had a feeling it wasn't going to work out. Especially since Jung Hwan himself was so hesitant.
I think it made sense that Taek is the husband since he acted on his feelings and was there for her when she needed it like the flasher scene or the scene where she cries on the staircase. Also Deok Sun and Taek tend to smile and laugh a lot in each others company, and I think that's quite important in a relationship.
Also Deok Sun said she lied about their first ("dream") kiss because she didn't want things to get awkward. From all the guys in the neighbourhood I always thought that Taek was the closest to her followed by Dong Ryong which is why when Taek asks her to go to the movies it doesn't seem that weird to her, but when Jung Hwan wants to go see a concert with her she doesn't understand why.
Right when Deok Sun found out that Jung hwan liked her and started acing the same way she did with sun woo albeit it wasn't as extreme I was like this can go two ways 1) she really finds out that she likes him or 2) she find out that she actually doesnt have feelings for him but just wants to like someone that likes her back.
With Taek she doesn't have any external factors telling her that he likes her. I think right when Taek told her he wasn't going to be able to meet up with her and she gets sad and upset I was like she probably likes Taek
Jung Hwan is written a lot like Yoon Jae, but Deok Sun isn't like Shi Won, Shi Won was someone with a lot of confidence which is why she works so well with Yoon Jae. While Deok needs someone like Taek that calls her pretty and someone who smiles at her antics.
I know some people were upset that Jung Hwan doesn't actually get a proper confession scene, but i think that is quite realistic. In real life people don't always confess to their crushes even if they had them for years.
I do wish that we got proper closure for Jung Hwan though. I also wished that we would have a scene with the OT5 meeting up in 2015 and a voice over saying that even though they dont live in the same neighbourhood they still meet up. It's safe to assume that Sun Woo's mom, Taek's dad and Deok Sun's parents still meet up since they are double in laws and Deok Sun, Taek, Bora and Sun Woo obviously still meet, but what about Jung Hwan and Dong Ryong. I think I'll just imagine that they all still meet up at least on each other's birthdays
